Did you know there are 2 whale emojis? Instead of spending precious manpower on designing two species of whales, one is a weird cartoon. I can't figure out any use for it when the beautiful blue whale is right there in front of you.

his clothes are meant to somewhat resemble a school uniform. he's young and learning! the shorts are funny to me.

the grey in his hair is meant to remind the viewer of grey wolves' fur.

his greatest weakness would be his black-and-white view of the world and morality, so his palette is monochrome.
