some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? The difference between the two "mitsukou comparing themselves to hananene" scenes is kinda funny actually

Cause on one hand we have Kou who technically didn't even bring up Mitsuba at all. No one brought up Mitsuba actually. The only explicit indication we get that this in any way relates to Mitsuba was a single panel of Kou thinking about him, and even then that was only after Nene's prompting

Then on the other hand we have Mitsuba. Who just. Brings up Kou. Straight up. Out of nowhere. Even tells Nene about their date night out to the aquarium. This mf really compared Kou to Nene in response to Nene saying she's kissed Hanako. I can't make this shit up
