pairing: luke/ashton, michael/calum (minor)
summary: Ashton knew this whole timer thing was absolutely ridiculous. He knew there had to be flaws in the whole ‘your timer will stop when you look your soulmate in the eyes for the very first time’ thing. After all the timers have been around since practically forever. There’s bound to be cracks in such an ancient system.
He just would’ve preferred it if the universe hadn’t confirmed his suspicions by pulling this stupid stunt.
This stupid stunt being Ashton sitting on the couch, in front of his TV at 2 am in the morning, watching MTV, staring dumbly at his timer that has just hit zero. The flickering lights of the TV throw shadows over the thin white lines of the zeros and no matter how Ashton holds his arm, the zeros stay.
or, ashton discovers a flaw in the soulmate system and spends the upcoming years pining over someone who doesn’t know he exists.
a/n: this fic is something ive been working on for the past few weeks and that couldn’t have existed without the help of my always amazing squad (femmeashton, punkcaluhm, pizzawithlashton and mpregashton) <3333

When you really run out of ideas …
Quick rundown on some stuff about my video masterlist General: - video links open in a new tab - a link to 5SOS’ keek page in the sidebar (and there’s also a section for deleted keeks in the masterlist itself) - I haven’t been able to check the whole list for any broken links but I have fixed those that I was aware of (and if you encounter a broken link, just inform me so I can fix it ASAP) - I also added some videos I missed before (please notify me of any videos that I missed) Sections: - Recently Added (videos stay for about a week on this section so it’s easier to check for recent stuff) - Covers (sectioned by boy - excl. Michael - then a whole section for band covers) - Official Videos (music videos are separated into two: Official and Other [lyric videos, one mic one take, etc], other sections include: Track by Track, Hungry 5SOS/The Drop, Behind The Scenes, etc) - Ustreams (some recorded parts of their Ustreams from 2011-2012) - Interviews (sectioned by Interviewer [e.g. Sugarscape, MTV, Shazam, etc.] but for one time interviews, it falls under the general “Interviews” section) - Japan/Mexico Interviews (special section for interviews when they visited these two countries - excl. TVGroove videos as that has its own section) - Audio Only Interviews (recorded radio interviews including Michael’s Full Frontal interview from 2013, some interviews from other countries, etc) - Soundcheck (only audio and only for a few venues: Madrid, Oberhausen, Sydney, Seattle, etc.) - Private Performances (sectioned by radio station including the date) - Concert Moments (haven’t been updated for a while but I have a ROWYSO concert highlights page here with links to videos at the bottom of the gifsets) - Nabisco and 5SOS (includes derpcon surprises and “assignments”) - Social Media (includes Fahlo, Vine, Twitter, and Instagram. Vines are either Michael’s or Calum’s, Instagram is sectioned by account and for the band account it’s sectioned by who’s in it, there’s also a special section for Calum’s keeks) - Other Videos (videos with no specific section and some deleted videos, has a general section and is also sectioned by boy - excl. Luke) - So Perfect: Unofficial Documentary (this is uploaded in 7 parts and has some unseen interview moments from early 2014)

you should watch tokyo ghoul or free! :-)
I watched both of them
Tokyo ghoul ripped my heart out and Free had so many homosexual undertones that I didn’t even know how to process any of it
