hi! :°) how did you find your art style? what does inspire you?, i love your work, it's really heartwarming <3
oh hi! thank you sm! I hope you're having a lovely day!!
To be honest, I don't think I've found it! It's something that's always been super fluid for me... a mix of my strengths and weaknesses at any given time. Exploring strong linework is probably what I'm "known" most for and I gravitate towards it because I like it! It's taught me so much about myself and my process... I think following what intrigues you and makes you feel joy in finishing a drawing will always leave you in a better position than before. The technical skills and experience will follow naturally.
Uhm.. biggest inspiration is always jazz. Old jazz tunes always give me 10000 stories ideas and make my heart soar! hehe
Hi🦋 your art is absolutely fantastic and has an Extremely Comforting quality to it. Thank you for sharing it with us!💕
:O! Thank you dear anon! Having lots of fun posting here! :D
if you're feeling powerless right now—and god knows I am—here's a reminder you can donate to the National Network of Abortion Funds, the Trans Law Center, Gaza Soup Kitchen, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, and hundreds of other charities that will work to mitigate the damage that has been and will continue to be inflicted
life continues. we still have the capacity to do good, important work. that matters
Update: I officially sold out of copies! Unfortunately I fell ill after MICE so it's taking me awhile to reorganize things, but later in the week I should be making a $125 donation thanks to everyone's support!
To everyone that wishes to buy elsewhere or online, I'll update my accounts if a second reprint happens🫡! But for now it is still free to read online via my comics tag on tumblr.
Howdy!! Popping in to say my last bday comic Wake Up: Ballad for the Midwest Queer won a mini comic award at MICE! I'll be donating 50% of its physical copy profits to the TransOhio Emergency Fund. Please consider checking out the work they do as well as the rest of the MICE winners!
Reprint of an older piece...RISO VERSION! Done so lovingly by Clatter Press with blue & teal ink. I'll have these prints along with a bunch of other comics at MICE this december!
