The Art of Improvisation. (Sneak Preview)

Synopsis: Attending couple's therapy with a man you just met on Tinder for fun leads you to an outcome you never expected.

Warnings: I don't actually know how couple's therapy work, so this is probably an extremely inaccurate depiction of it.

That's how you found yourself sitting on a black leather couch next to a man you're meeting for the very first time in a room filled with countless shelves of books and folders and decorated with expensive looking ornaments. A middle-aged woman holding a clipboard walks in, the therapist you presume, and sits down opposite the two of you, offering both of you a gentle smile before introducing herself as Dr Lee.

"Shall we begin?" she asks after taking a quick look at her clipboard and the both of you nod silently. "Let's start off with a simple question, how long have you been together?"

"Two years," you answer. But next to you, jeonghan had given a different answer, causing you to turn to him with a raised brow. Jeonghan returns your look with a sheepish smile.

"Excuse me?" you say to him and all Jeonghan can do is scratch the back of his neck with a small "I forgot".

"You forgot?" your voice raises an octave while you glare at him.

Dr Lee writes something down, "why don't you tell me about how you two met?"

Jeonghan takes a deep inhale. "Well it was a rainy morning and I was in the cafe near my school grabbing my daily coffee when Y/n came barging into the place dripping wet." He grabs your hand that was resting in between the two of you with a soft smile. "I was about to leave the place when Y/n slipped on a puddle, caused by themself I believe, and crashed into me, making me spill coffee all over myself. I was wearing a white shirt and had an important presentation that day too."

With a sigh, you pull your hand out of his. "That was not what happened at all, you liar."

Jeonghan looks at you with wide eyes, shocked by the accusation.

"Let me tell you what exactly happened that day," you shift slightly on the couch. "I went into the cafe trying to seek shelter from the sudden downpour and was standing near the condiments station by the door, out of everyone's way, when I felt a shove from behind me because Chunghan here—"

"Jeonghan," he whispers to you.

"Oh right, sorry." You quickly whisper back before continuing. "Jeonghan here was not watching where he was going. So I slipped on the puddle and fell backwards into him as I tried to regain my balance and he didn't even apologize for walking into me and had the audacity to start yelling at me in a crowded cafe asking for compensation for ruining his shirt."
