ok just learned something terrible i must inform you all:
when i got this text i assumed my friend had watched either the creation of todd or (more likely) a video with the todd advertisements at the beginning. but no, dear viewer. she watched the video “We Fused Three of Our Favorite Drawfee Characters and I Wish We Hadn’t”.
meaning THIS
WAS HER INTRODUCTION TO DRAWFEE.
THIS.
imagine you have a friend who won’t stop talking about this improv comedy art youtube channel and everything they say is a reference to it and they talk a lot about their diversity of art styles and how they are all very talented in very different ways so when you get the video in your recommended you decide “fuck it why not” and watch just to get met by fucking Toblucey
i love when my friends watch drawfee and message me letting me know they are watching drawfee top 10 experience
I HATE MY JOB! ⭐️
My favorite type of characters are “they’re not dumb but they are a dumbass”
me & my trusty tj maxx sonic notebook that contains my deepest darkest secrets and also my taxes and also fan fiction
ok but legitimately i think the reason why kids aren’t taking internet safety seriously is because the people who are telling us not to put our personal information out seem so out of touch. no one acknowledges the possibility of meeting very real teenaged friends online, they always say that everyone you meet is a 40 year old white man in disguise. because they aren’t acknowledging things we know are true, it becomes a lot easier to dismiss the rest of what they’re saying as well. internet safety lessons absolutely must keep up with the times and acknowledge the internet’s capacity for good if you want kids to take to heart warnings about its capacity for bad.
side order sketchbook spread!
i had dream you were a plum instead of a fish and you were arguing with a grape
any grapes out there looking to start some shit?
Jet from atla is so funny bc like, he's fighting zuko and taunting him being like "bet you wanna use some fire instead of those swords, dont u fireboy" which is a funny thing to say to a guy who is clearly very eager to fight using swords
being transmasc non binary but also being afab is so weird because i love things like skirts and jewelry but i’m also hyper-aware how feminine it makes me so i just never wear any of it bc i know i’ll get misgendered
*sigh*
ALSO I forgot to mention that it’s an Ava’s Demon style comic with it being painted, so I’m spending anywhere from 2-5 hours on each page aND I CANT TALK ABOUT ANY OF IT THIS IS MORE DIFFICULT THEN I ORIGINALLY INTENDED
So I have this comic I’m working on and I want to finish the first part of the chapter (what I call the ‘storybook section’) before I show it or even mention it to my friends because I want it to be this big random surprise, but it’s just so hard! We have our own discord server and my best friend (bless her soul) keeps mentioning her comic and showing art for the characters and talking about changing her schedule for updates (she wants to update every week, but so far she hasn’t been able to do that) and AAAAAAAAA ITS JUST SO HARD TO NOT MENTION ALL OF MY CHARACTERS AND THEIR WORLD AND HOW PASSIONATE I AM ABOUT ITTTT
I really hope I can keep to my original plan and not tell them, but it’s so tough,,,,,,
