I would love a relationship like Morticia & Gomez! 🥺🥰

I think one thing that a lot of Addams Family fans forget is that for the family, goth wasn’t about being gloomy and sad or bitter and cynical at all. Morticia was always gazing out at rainy days and declaring, “how beautiful a day it is!” or saying that “black is so much more cheerful!” because they found joy in their dark aesthetic. Wednesday was curious and sharp-minded and very clearly exercised and expressed her personal sense of power and self through things like her interest in weaponry and true crime - in the original series and comics, she was always dancing and playing with her brother. Edgy Wednesday didn’t happen until the 90s reboot, and well, it was the 90s. Gloomy grunge and artful sadness were in at the time. And let’s not even talk about Gomez, who was so full of life and love for his family that he’d often break into song or dip Morticia in the kitchen for an old-fashioned kiss. The Addams worked so well because they were healthy, happy, loving and goth. They were a perfect example of indulging in an aesthetic without letting it become toxic or consuming their lives.

Love this ♥️

Dominance is not writing a post that appeals to the neediness of naive little girls, pulling their little heart strings.

Dominance is not finding a weak, overly dependent girl, and finding her weakness and feeling “strong” just because you can break her and hurt her and mind fuck her. You weak ass bitch doms who do this are beyond fucking pathetic.  You are a WEAK fucked up little boy.

Dominance is not just the emotional vanilla things that OF COURSE you should have in any real relationship.

Dominance is not just being a decent human being that cares and loves for a girl. Seriously that is just the bare minimum of not being a fucking ass hole.

Dominance is not dumping your fucking emotional baggage on a weak girl and fucking her over.

Dominance is having your shit together.

Dominance is controlling the fucking beast within you, especially your temper.

Dominance is having a fucking job (remembering an @owlmansdead anon months ago who was a “dom” but sat his ass at home all day and didn’t try to find a job)

Dominance is finding a strong, independent submissive that even though you may be striving to be an awesome man, she gives you her submission and it is a gift you could never truly “earn”

Dominance is being a leader that always learns how to be a better leader and a better man.

Dominance is teaching your submissive life lessons.

Dominance is gently (and not so gently at times) reminding a submissive of your strength when she tests her boundaries.

Dominance is respecting a woman that allows you to do whatever is inside you that you need to do to her.

Dominance is controlled power that doesn’t go to your head and feed your ego at the expense of another’s suffering.

Dominance is making her a better person than she already is, better off for knowing you and being with you, not worse.

Dominance is a look that says 10,000 words.

Dominance.  You either have it or you don’t.  Playing like you have it when you don’t makes you look like a total fucking idiot.

Wolf out.

Rant over.

When Brazilian graphic designer Carol Rossetti began posting colorful illustrations of women and their stories to Facebook, she had no idea how popular they would become.

Thousands of shares throughout the world later, the appeal of Rosetti’s work is clear. Much like the street art phenomenon Stop Telling Women To Smile, Rossetti’s empowering images are the kind you want to post on every street corner, as both a reminder and affirmation of women’s bodily autonomy.

“It has always bothered me, the world’s attempts to control women’s bodies, behavior and identities,” Rossetti told Mic via email. “It’s a kind of oppression so deeply entangled in our culture that most people don’t even see it’s there, and how cruel it can be.”

Rossetti’s illustrations touch upon an impressive range of intersectional topics, including LGBTQ identity, body image, ageism, racism, sexism and ableism. Some characters are based on the experiences of friends or her own life, while others draw inspiration from the stories many women have shared across the Internet.

“I see those situations I portray every day,” she wrote. “I lived some of them myself.”

Despite quickly garnering thousands of enthusiastic comments and shares on Facebook, the project started as something personal — so personal, in fact, that Rossetti is still figuring out what to call it. For now, the images reside in albums simply titled “WOMEN in english!“ or ”Mujeres en español!“ which is fitting: Rossetti’s illustrations encompass a vast set of experiences that together create a powerful picture of both women’s identity and oppression.

One of the most interesting aspects of the project is the way it has struck such a global chord. Rossetti originally wrote the text of the illustrations in Portuguese, and then worked with an Australian woman to translate them to English. A group of Israeli feminists also took it upon themselves to create versions of the illustrations in Hebrew. Now, more people have reached out to Rossetti through Facebook and offered to translate her work into even more languages. Next on the docket? Spanish, Russian, German and Lithuanian.

It’s an inspiring show of global solidarity, but the message of Rossetti’s art is clear in any language. Above all, her images celebrate being true to oneself, respecting others and questioning what society tells us is acceptable or beautiful.

“I can’t change the world by myself,” Rossetti said. “But I’d love to know that my work made people review their privileges and be more open to understanding and respecting one another.””
