Kenapa Perempuan Harus Melek Teknologi?

Inikah hal-hal yangbiasa kamu lakukan: menelfon pacar ketika ada masalah dengan laptopmu, mengirim sms kepada kawan ketika ada masalah kehilangan koneksi internet pada gadget mu? Mengantar komputer mu ke Tukang Servis padahal hanya untuk menginstall satu software yang sebetulnya sangat mudah..     Yaa, hal-hal tersebut pun masih dilakukan banyak perempuan di dunia yang super modern ini, bahkan pada mereka yang pengguna setia teknologi gadget sekalipun. Mungkin kita masih bisa memaklumkan ketika perempuan yang menyetir mobilnya sendiri harus panik menelfon bengkel ketika tiba-tiba mogok di jalan, tapi untuk sebuah komputer? Apakah komputer jauh lebih complicated dari pada mobil. Melek teknologi tidak selamanya, karena user adalah master IT, melainkan karena keinginan untuk bisa menyelesaikan segala sesuatunya tanpa perlu bergantung kepada orang lain, khususnya untuk hal-hal kecil.

        Dunia modern hari ini menuntut kita untuk belajar sesuatu secara cepat, namun tidak instant, sama halnya dengan memahami komputer yang kita gunakan setiap harinya untuk bekerja atau sekedar mencari hiburan dan kawan.      Bukanlah suatu hal yang sulit untuk belajar mereparasi komputer mu sendiri, atau melihat masalah yang terjadi dengan gadget mu. Kalau kamu pengguna setia Internet pasti sudah akrab dengan yang namanya mesin Pencari Google. Selain untuk bekerja pada suatu bidang yang kita tekuni, Google selalu berguna untuk semua bidang, termasuk IT. Manfaatkan mesin pencari Google mu untuk mengetahui masalah apa yang terjadi ketika wireless laptop mu tidak bisa tersambung dengan koneksi internet di satu kafe yang kamu datangi misalnya. Selanjutnya lakukan solusi sebagaimana informasi-informasi tersebar di internet, kalau masih belum bisa berhasil, barulah datang ke Teknisi, atau menelfon seseorang untuk meminta pertolongan.        Belakangan, karena maraknya seruan-seruan Perempuan Melek Teknologi di berbagai Media, cetak maupun online, juga banyak pusat-pusat belajar yang menawarkan model belajar singkat dengan materi-materi teknologi ringan yang mudah dipahami, sehingga perempuan dapat menyelesaikan masalahnya sendiri. Sesekali mungkin menarik untuk mengikuti kelas Windows misalnya.       Kemampuan dalam penguasaan Teknologi Komputer juga akan membawa manfaat tersendiri untuk karir di kantor, selain mahir menggunakan program office, penguasaan terhadap beberapa model program komputer seperti Database System, aplikasi SPSS, sampai design graphics akan menjadi tambahan prestasi sendiri untuk peningkatan karirmu.
