Movie [Orange] Honestly, I’ve never cried so hard on a story based on manga.
Beautifully plotted, the story portrays the significance of friendship and love, what it means to make your actions worthwhile to make life itself worth living, and how past regrets cannot be erased but your future can indeed be altered through every thoughts and ideas that you turn into a reality.
…To save a friend’s life who you know is not going to be there in the future. …To teach him to live. …To let him know that his friends are there for him. …To make him realize the significance of living.
Please, if you have not watched it, please do watch it! My number one recommendation right now. And make sure you have a box of tissues near by.
It will make you cry.
And it will make you re-think of everything and everyone you have and are with right now and for sure make you realize how beautiful a life can be.
day6 are trending on tumblr on 7th place. sungjin’s power is no joke.
Yes indeed they are.
- episode 2 of Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger.
One of the aspects I want to focus more on once the main part of the live-blog is over is the different aspects of Hammy’s character we get to see in this episode and, in general, in the series so far.
As I’m writing this episode 4 just aired, so the idea I’m trying to convey are partially influenced by further development in the story that, of course, are not understandable if only this episode is taken into account. I indeed feel that it is a pity for the show to have such a little number of female characters (2 out of 9, possibly 11 or 13 main rangers); nevertheless, I also want to believe that, especially in the case of Hammy, the writers are trying to fix quantity with quality, by giving us a complex and potentially more rounded and realistic character.
I especially like how Hammy seems to always oscillate between a carefree, cheerful and dynamic persona to a more worried and somehow pessimistic attitude. This is not only true in the wake of the team’s defeat on Jigama; her disbelief in regards to Lucky’s absurd stunts from last episode, while primarily being an assessment of her more rational point of view on things if compared to the others, can also be interpreted, IMHO, as an indication of her lack of confidence in this whole Kyuranger thing.
This does not mean that Hammy is not devoted to her cause as a member of the rebellion, on the contrary: the fact that she was one of the first (if not the first one?) to manifest her Kyutama makes me see her as one of the most focused on the team when it comes to their mission.
Yet, maybe because of her young age, or maybe because of something that happened to her before the meeting with Lucky, there is always this lack of confidence in the team’s ability and in the legend that wants them as actually capable of bringing peace to the Galaxy again.
A legend that, so far, has found in Raptor one of its strongest believer: the reason for this, as well as the implication of the existence of such a tale are, as I’ve already said, one of the most intriguing part of the show, and one of the things I’m mostly looking forward to be explained later on.
some jonghyun shinin’ mv screenshots remade as twitter layouts, enjoy!
My Brain: So…you already ship Stinger and Lucky don’t you… My Heart:
One of the many reasons why we love Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo: The cinematography is lit. Talk about art and splurge of beautiful and refreshing pastel colours.
