• he liked the way you chewed on your bottom lip before carefully picking your answer.

• you were smart. smarter than the average history student.

• it's probably what first drew him in.

• but then when jasper started to really watch you, he noticed just how much he started to be infatuated with you.

• he liked the little crease that formed between your brows. the clip you always used in your hair, and the ring you wore on your right hand everyday.

• you were a unique human to him. and today, he couldn't help but notice your frustration.

• jasper felt it deeply in waves. he felt your emotions more than anybody he's ever met before.

• you were searching for a hair tie in your backpack's front zipper.

• of course, you turned up with nothing though.

• whenever you used one, you always forgot to put it back away or supply and replace them with new.

• he didn't question earlier when his closest friend, alice, handed him a hair tie.

• you put your hand out, grabbing it and put it on your wrist. your fingertips brushed his and he instantly looked up at you.

• when you glanced up you noticed golden speckles around the iris of his brown eyes. they were unusual but that was something you liked about jasper.

• "thank you jas." you replied, the soft of your voice soothing his worries about you.

• "of course. walk you to your next class?" jasper questioned.

• class was done, the bell had just run and now that he was able to finally talk to you, he needed no wanted to know more.

• you smiled while gathering up your hair and smoothing down the top. you pulled the elastic and pulled it into a bun.

• "i'd like that. actually, i had a theory about the american civil war and wanted your input on it."

• jasper smirked, knowing he could help you with anything regarding that topic.

• he grabbed your backpack, resting it on his shoulder after he laced his own through his arms. "after you ma'am."
