Take your time. It's okay. Together... in the future, there's plenty of time.
Not sure which chapter it was, but once Shirayuki told Ryuu that “Obi messes around but doesn’t lie”
so….

THE MARKSON LOVE STORY
bonus:
Pondering whether I should start treating 7 seas danmei translations like pokemon and y'know buy them all.
The thing I like about Hua Cheng carving companions for all the Xie Lian statues is that it does two things. It forces Hua Cheng to depict himself as somewhat of an equal to Xie Lian. (Plus he has to make nice statues of himself as to not sully the Xie Lian statues. He has to look at himself in a positive, or at least neutral light.) It also shows that Xie Lian isn't alone anymore. Even his representations are not alone.
It kind of brings both their character arcs full circle. Hua Cheng is worthy of being with Xie Lian without making himself lesser than. Xie Lian doesn't have to be alone for other's safety. He also doesn't have to earn his place with Hua Cheng. Hua Cheng loves him as is now, as well as how he was at every point in his life so far. (He understands (and loves) Xie Lian's everything after all.)
