When people say life is worth living, I think their cost/benefit analysis is off for people who aren't neurotypical. Cost-wise, they're probably not considering the huge amounts of energy exhausted just managing one's mental health, and the pain, and the isolation, etc. Benefit-wise, they're not realizing that some joys of life just aren't accessible to certain types of people (especially if your brain doesn't make a whole lot of happy chemical).
Who am I kidding, they put no thought into it, they just say it because it sounds nice.
