🦇🎶Stakes was incredible! Marceline is one of my favorite characters from the start, but I loved how this mini series shows how far she come, along with the characters who are a part of Marcy's world.
I remember being blown away when I first watched this when this premiered back in 2015, and it still amazing to this day.
I can't wait to do Islands and Elements, but Stakes will still be my personal favorite.🎶🦇
Learning that in the German dub of Adventure Time Bubblegum speaks Turkish
Assimilate that into your headcanons
Personally I like to think she's a polyglot since she's shown speaking English, German, and Korean
I can't believe this was a season 5 episode btw. Season 5 out of 10 seasons. In 2013. A year before korrasami. Just casually open with Bubblegum sniffing the FUCK out of this shirt she got from Marceline. A fat fucking snoof and rub and a satisfied sigh. She got it from a girl she broke up with several centuries ago and is at this point just barely on speaking terms with. Marceline does not know she does this. Absolutely deranged behaviour. The down baddest anyone's ever been. The fact people were still debating whether she was gay after this. Pearl steven universe is nothing next to this shit
No matter how much time passes or how many human rights violations she commits nobody will ever make me hate Princess Bubblegum (I watched her get melted by the Lich when I was 8 and felt a deep protectiveness I would later realise was nascent bisexuality)
This Adventure Time Halloween promo is extremely good.
It came out around 2016 (midway through season 7) and features a bunch of references to old episodes. We've got PB in her Goliad outfit, LSP in Lumpy Space, and a really well-animated Flame Princess. It's so fun to discover stuff like this omg

First of all, it sounds like the Adventure Time movie is finally happening! This was announced way back in like 2013 but never really went anywhere. The plot and other elements ended up getting integrated into various season six episodes. Adam Muto, Rebecca Sugar, and Pat McHale are all involved in the project.
Then we also have two series on the way. The first one sounds like it will be a return to the 6-11 demographic, unlike the recent Fionna and Cake series which had a slightly older target audience. It will be titled Side Quests and will be an episodic show focussing on a young Finn and Jake, serving as a sort of prequel to the original show but without many serial plot elements. The Variety article says Nate Cash will be working on it.
Finally, the second series will be a preschool show called Heyo BMO. Adam Muto and Ashlyn Anstee are both involved. I expect we will hear more in the coming weeks. There might be more info at the Annecy festival by tomorrow.
I will of course be bringing more updates as they come, and will dig around for more info later once I have some more time.
Stay tuned!
the AT brainrot comes and goes every few months but I love this show / sideblog / adult / main (art): 2mucheyeliner
