Everyone needs to not get upset or aggressive over Akito. The whole point of her story, as expressed in Another, is that it’s okay to forgive people who hurt you, and it’s okay not to as well.

It also teaches us that your redemption or change isn’t reliant on forgiveness. Sometimes you have to accept some people can’t forgive you, and to show you’re getting better is by respecting that. You have to want to be good for no one other than yourself, because some people might only ever see you as an antagonist, that doesn’t mean you act like one.

The way everyone is split it showcasing that perfectly. Read Fruits Basket Another and I think there will be some catharsis for everybody.

I absolutely love the use of the sentence "I know my love can be the killing kind" through Oz & Salem relationship with the love being Salem (I'm a sucker for perfect association between lyrics & characters)

But what I also loved is the utilization of this same sentence with Ruby's silver eyes !! It reverts the previous idea; the "love" instead of a loved person skips to love as in the care you have for others, the ability. And it subverts the sentence in a positive way : that Ruby's love for life and her closed ones become an actual weapon against Grimm. Her love kills to protect <3

Random ramble but I wanted to express some love for a well chosen scene (+ the rythm and framing of that silver shine going off with the "my love can be the killing kind" is just top notch)

The Killing Kind is one of my favorite AMVs of yours! I love the use of the color and the focus on Oz/Salem and the bird twins, and of course the music choice is impeccable as always.

The punchline of the song is that the phrase containing the title, "I know my love can be the killing kind," can be interpreted two ways: "I know my ability to love can be the kind that kills me" (the Branwen twins in converse directions), or, more ironically, "I know the one whom I love can be the kind of person that, well, murders people" (Oz and Salem). Hence, I'm really happy I went with those two focal points, although it does also explore the character arcs of the main characters as well.

You clearly have no idea how lighting in animation works. Plus, Sun’s just tan, his skin’s never been that dark.

The gifs show Sun right next to Coco who has always been extremely pale in show, and apparently even takes pride in her pale skin in the books. So nah, I'm sorry to say it's not JUST lighting.

I didn't say Sun was POC because that's not my place (although based on his chinese allusion and how I've seen people describe him I wouldn't say that's necessarily inappropriate) and it's also why I won't be speaking of white-washing because AGAIN, not my place. Saying he's just tan works for me if that's what you want to go with; doesn't change the fact that Coco clearly ISN'T. He's not Emerald but Sun's skin is still arguably one of the darkest of the show along with Tai, Ilia or Oscar so I think it matters.

Yea I took a V1-V3 Sun screenshot because I can already hear the argument that Coco is only THAT pale bc of the different engines. Yes but that's not the problem : same season, CLEARLY different skin tones. And they're both in day lightning in the first screenshots.

Now Chibi. They're in the exact same place at the same time under the same lighting : Sun should still be clearly more tanned than Coco. Point blank

(again i don't watch Chibi so maybe this isn't NEW and back in the first chibi seasons they had already stolen his melanin; but that doesn't change the fact of the matter.)
