This is so minimal and so stupid but it's a detail I really really like

It just dawned on me that this?

this little bitch has a comb over, not a pompadour or slicked back hair or whatever. In the cungadero air freshener, he has a widow's peak, and presumably that's him in the past, right? Which means he probably doesn't have all that hair to spare anymore. How tragic for him

Which means not only that he's trying to hide his receding hairline, it also means that the comb over is all fucked up in Spamton NEO's sprites, truly showing his unhingedness

Week 3 (a day late) This time, I wanted to refresh my creative design process again, and went with what I can do fairly easily (in my opinion) Sonic Fan Child Designs. This time, boasting a Sonic the Hedgehog X Jet the Hawk daughter design.

I’ve grown a strange fascination with this background character from #42.

Sure they look like any avatar you’d make from Forces given the getup and wispon,

But then you get this shot.

Either,

It’s a female character drawn without pants, which is explicitly against Sega’s mandates for IDW - the legs are the exact same color as the rest of their body, unless it’s a Marine type of situation, those might as well just be their legs, plus their top is covered

Or it’s a male character drawn with visibly long eyelashes - they’ve had thick lashes before on the boys, but they (usually) never stuck out like that, that’s typically drawn for girls

Or it’s a Shadow eyeshadow (heh) situation and very well could be an error

Both are fantastic options and they are now under my custody.

japanese sonic is my fav headcanon ever. him not being able to properly communicate w everyone when he was younger cuz he literally does not know english is my reasoning for why classic is is quiet. bro doesn’t even know what’s going on

Sonic X Vanilla Fan Child Design Concept

Here is another one hot off the DA Poll, this one I actually had a bit of difficulty with design wise but I think she turned out well in the end.

Her main fur color is a lighter version of her fathers as well as the skin tones on her muzzle and inside her ears. Her eye color and shape come from her mother as well as her nose color, though the shape is more rounded like a hedgehogs. Her secondary fur color, the orange, comes from her mother though much like the blue she gained from her father much lighter, a possible out come from her mothers natural main fur color being so light. Though her ears are that of a hedgehog they are a fair bit larger than the average hedgehog ears, a trait gained from her mother’s side of the genes no doubt. Though her spines more so take after a hedgehog’s (which she keeps groomed downward naturally they are much more like her fathers) the orange colored spines at the back of her head actually come from more of her mothers side. Her hair tuft also is a trait from her mother. Her tail is obviously from her mothers side and like her mother her arms are covered in fur, and she does not possess a stomach patch.

Her clothes at least in color aren’t final, I was just really unsure what to do so if anyone has some other ideas for colors give me a ring. But her clothes are a clear call back to her mother with some flare of her father splashed in as well.

I see her being a very polite girl, quiet and reserved. But I see her also enjoying taking off the more dress like part of her get up (the part under it being a one piece) and taking off on little runs and adventures. I see her also having amazing jumping abilities not being able to fly like her older half sister (Cream would be older no doubt.).
