SU barely makes CN any Money

Listen up everyone please.

I was informed recently that Steven Universe in fact does not make CN any money. As much as you may not like it, It’s shows like Teen Titans Go and Ben 10 (the new reboot which they currently work on) that do very well for the network, Ben 10 more so over seas. It’s shows like these that make it possible for Steven Universe to continue.

Steven universe doesn’t make them money because the show is serialized, making it hard for them to air the show whenever, many episodes get banned in other countries and much of the audience, mainly the older portion of viewers, prefers to watch online and look at spoilers and leaked episodes before they are officially released.

I’m not demanding you stop looking at spoilers. I cannot make anyone do anything they don’t want to do. Hell even I have been watching it online, mostly because it was impossible for me to catch it on TV. But now that I have better living arrangements I will be making an effort to watch it on television.

I just hope that this information enlightens you more to the situation that the show is in. Cartoon Network loves the show. But it is a business first. And I just hope that if you plan on continuing to look at spoilers and and not watch it on television, that you keep this in mind the next time you think about complaining about CN’s other programming, and pray that shows like Teen Titans Go and the new Ben 10 continue to make enough money so you can keep watching Steven Universe.
