favorite thing about andrew immediately going and telling renee about jeremy is that they really are best friends. they like to beat the shit out of each other and then sit around and talk about boyyssss
neil "i love when people are mean because omg no way my turn" josten
Andrew based on this screenshot of a tweet I saw on Pinterest
imagine kevin came back with the foxes instead of staying in west virginia after riko died and he's looking around their dorm room in despair after he sees the damage that jean's rage induced grief inflicted. he's helping clean up & goes to throw stuff in the trash when he see's a pile of andrew's candy bars in there. it's so ridiculous & such a jean thing to do that he actually laughs and suddenly he misses his first and longest best friend so much that he feels sick with it
genuinely so fucking grateful that nora gave jeremy real honest to god flaws. even though so much of the shit that happened to him was supremely unfair, he also had a real problem he made with his own hands that destroyed him and i'm so glad it went deeper than just "his family are a bunch of dicks"
the way that Andrew and Neil and Jean all have this incredibly intense codependent relationship with Kevin that’s based off of mutual trauma or binding promises, and then there’s just Jeremy who’s like… “Kevin is my buddy! 😁 We text! 🤗 Kevin you crazy fool! 😜

It just occurred to me that Andrew didn't just agree to dinner with the Hemmicks because Neil made compelling arguments or because he's soft on Neil. He agreed because Neil offered to come along. He agreed because Neil offered to have his back if he went. It's the same deal that Andrew's been making Neil the entire time: go do this thing that scares you because I've got your back.
Which makes Andrew forgiving Neil really quickly after just a few harsh words make so much sense. Because despite the outcome of that dinner and Neil's role in making it happen, he did have Andrew's back. He got to Andrew before anyone else even knew something was wrong, he brought a weapon, he hid Andrew's knives without question, he did everything Andrew needed him to do. It was a shit situation that they walked into like idiots but Neil still had his back every step of the way. Neil didn't break any promises and that counts for more in Andrew's books than any fuck-up Neil could make.
