The wives are terrified of Carl, terrified of what he can do. 

They cant protect themselves the way that they can, they sit and watch as he stabs a Walker, even a savior who looks at him wrong. They get even more scared when Carl basically tells them to stay away from Negan

They aren’t allowed to touch him, aren’t allowed to look at him. If he wants them, they have to Tell Negan that Carl is the one that really needs him right now and usually Negan gets upset but now he just goes to Carl’s room. 

Carl will smirk at breakfast as they watch Negan play with his hair or kiss him. 

They scowl when Carl’s hand reaches out and tugs at Negan’s cock in front of them

They cry when Carl takes them out one by one
