I found out recently that a lot of musicians (or at least musicians I listen to) don’t have any symbols which is weird to me because I don’t think your face or text should be the symbol for everything you make, right? I think merch where it’s only text is fine but it can feel too plain, and when it has the face of the artist I imagine it’d be awkward for me to wear because it gives obsessed “I know this artist’s entire life” vibes when in reality, I just like the music and I usually just like the artist a normal amount.
btw when I say “symbol” I mean stuff like the Gorillaz skull, the Apex Twins A, even the Blur Circle counts for me, just small designs that could be readable even from far away
I can’t wait for the day that either Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel comes to a end, because I could finally fully watch one of those shows and see if the criticisms were actually good or not
I want to talk a bit about visual schedules, and why they help me.
I really struggle with memory, for multiple reasons.
I also really like to be able to know EXACTLY what's going to happen.
Both of these things make visuals very useful for me. As well as the fact that I tend to process information better when a visual is involved rather than just text. Sure, I could have a schedule or shower instructions written fully in text, but I won't be able to understand and follow it as easily that way.
The visual I use the most is my shower visual schedule. It tells me what to do when I shower, which is very useful for me because before I got it I would forget many many steps, and most of the time in the shower would be spent by me just fully disassociating or trying to remember what to do. The visual keeps me a bit more "on track".
I don't see many teenagers or adults using visual schedules, just young children. So if you are a teenager or adult who uses them I want to tell you how cool that is /pos
I was JUST doing this but for Bunny, then I took a break and came on Tumblr just to find the creator doing the same lol
This literally motivates me to stop the break
Méko shows an example of how he does proportions for his characters!
He says that he often changes the proportions of his characters in his drawings.
He can tend to make them far taller with human anatomy details, but however, they’re far more short and simple with a lot of rules for their design!
I wish there was a way to play that choose-your-own-adventure Puss in Boots movie. I remember being probably a quarter through the movie and then my mom stopped paying for netflix, now it’s gone forever 🥲
Was about to fully complete it but I think y’all got the vision
Twitter is extremely scary when it comes to art that doesn't look like conventionally attractive anime characters because I've seen people rip apart artists for drawing abstract/contemporary art because it got alot of likes and or getting upset with people creating fetish art "why do you waste ur god given talent on drawing fetish porn??? why not draw NORMAL ART"
and my god you people are doing nothing but repeating fascist rhetoric about art. like I'm not kidding this is literally what Nazis thought about art that existed outside that status quo. so scary
Finally beat Sonic Unleashed today!!! I think I started the game 5-6 months ago and I got to Eggmanland 2 months ago because I kept quitting after getting a game over because I can’t get the long QTEs. I was playing the ps3 version, which I discovered midway through that it is the 2nd worst console to play Sonic Unleashed on 💀
The game is pretty good until the end though, where all the jankyness in the game comes on full force. All that I personally experienced before (clipping through ramps/wall running, clipping through rails, left/right dash barely moving, etc.) was ramped up on Eggmanland in my experience 🤷♂️
Been watching the Ninjago Lego series so far and it is SOO good! I really enjoyed how they build up these huge villains that seem hard to even imagine knocking down, and then the writers end up finding a good ending! What I didn’t like so far was that scene with Zane and the genie because the writing there felt cheaply won by the genie breaking his own rules 🫤
If you like fashion shows then you should watch this on full screen. this is LIFE CHANGING!!
Love the set, love the music, love the editing/filming, and most importantly I LOVE the fashion
This is my first time animating anything, EVER! No bouncing ball, no animation tutorials, NOTHING before this! Though, I used to watch animation tutorials/bts wayy before I even bought the RoughAnimator. I do know that it might not be such a good idea to have something a bit complicated but I felt a bit cocky about my skills halfway through, until I remembered that the guide was for staying on model and that I should’ve used colors to separate each part (which is why it’s colored at the end).
The movement was inspired by King’s jump-back-kick from Tekken!
Btw I was soo sick while making this post, it even got to a point where I could barely move. At the time I could barely type that caption out. I’m better now which is why I’m typing out what I wanted to in the first place.
Got the outline so far!
