In my perception, $100 is a lot to give, but not a lot to have. However, $150 seems totally reasonable to give, and pretty decent to have (but the reasonable to give to pretty decent to have ratio is like 2:1). And this is because I think that once you reach $150 threshold, it's like you can see the peak of $200 from on top of the $100 but you're glad you don't have to climb the $200 peak.
