“Saturday, November 30. Beautiful Day! An Accumulated Lack Of Sleep Caused Me To Pass Out As Soon

“Saturday, November 30. Beautiful day! An accumulated lack of sleep caused me to pass out as soon as I got home yesterday, causing me to wake up this early. It’s cold. My body is craving salt. Feel like a bowl of miso soup. But… I’d better finish that bread I got two days ago. Miso soup or bread. Gotta pick one, since they don’t go together. Or do they? Maybe I can make miso soup… that goes with bread.” — Kitchen for Singles, Episode 3: Soy Milk Miso Soup in the Morning

"I no longer believed in the idea of soul mates, or love at first sight. But I was beginning to believe that a very few times in your life if you were lucky, you might meet someone who was exactly right for you. Not because he was perfect, or because you were, but because your combined flaws were arranged in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together."
