I haven't been sleeping great lately and then today i went ham cleaning and remaking my nest

Thought to myself "huh weird, wonder whats up.." and then i remembered

i wanna fly. so bad. i want to soar through clouds, weave between mountain peaks, feel the sun on my wings, dive into the sea, fly under the stars, perch somewhere high and watch the sun rise.

the void is the most dangerous thing while also being the safest

Sometimes I just wish someone would play with my wings. Run their hands through my feathers and snuggle up all warm underneath them.

I'm just saying that if my wings were not just phantom limbs I would shield all my catkins friends of the rain. I would provide shade in the hot summer for those who are more of a nocturnal type. I would keep my call blooded folks warm. And to all my human friends I would do the same if you ever need it. To all that are learning to fly I would give tips and to those too afraid of the open sky I would take time to tell you stories about the clouds because I once was scared to fly too.
