๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฒ, 8 ๐๐๐ โข The fact that it's the last monthly spread of this year seems so unreal..I did this constellation kind of theme because outer space have a special place in my heart and this is my birth month so why not! also let's say goodbye to this unfortunate year and wish that the new moon of 2021 will bring new lights!โจ

This is the Trifid Nebula! โจโจโจ
At the center of this nebula is a group of bright newborn stars that are releasing streams of radiation and sculpting the nebulaโs shape. Located next to the famous Lagoon Nebula, the Trifid Nebula is a common target for astrophotographers due to its vibrant colors and high visibility! ๐๐๐

Dark Molecular Cloud Barnard 68 Image Credit: FORS Team, 8.2-meter VLT Antu, ESO
Explanation: Where did all the stars go? What used to be considered a hole in the sky is now known to astronomers as a dark molecular cloud. Here, a high concentration of dust and molecular gas absorb practically all the visible light emitted from background stars. The eerily dark surroundings help make the interiors of molecular clouds some of the coldest and most isolated places in the universe. One of the most notable of these dark absorption nebulae is a cloud toward the constellation Ophiuchus known as Barnard 68, pictured here. That no stars are visible in the center indicates that Barnard 68 is relatively nearby, with measurements placing it about 500 light-years away and half a light-year across. It is not known exactly how molecular clouds like Barnard 68 form, but it is known that these clouds are themselves likely places for new stars to form. In fact, Barnard 68 itself has been found likely to collapse and form a new star system. It is possible to look right through the cloud in infrared light.

This is the Super Flower Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse! โจโจโจ
Although the Slooh telescopes were off at the time of the eclipse itself, Slooh did provide a great livestream on Youtube that you can watch if you missed the event. The nameย โsuper moonโ comes from how the Moon is located closer in its elliptical orbit to Earth, the nameย โflower moonโ comes from how the super moon takes place in May, and the nameย โblood moonโ shows its red color due to the Earth blocking the Sunโs light on the moon! ๐๐๐

This is Haleyโs Coronet! ๐๐๐
The interaction between the larger spiral galaxy and its dwarf galaxy have created plumes of dust around the duo. The process of the larger galaxy eating the smaller one is actually called galactic cannibalism (spooky)! ๐ป๐ป๐ป

One of the most difficult collections ever: the Caldwell object collection! โฅโฅโฅ
Taking around 6 months to complete, this was one of the longest collections ever! Many of these objects could be photographed during specific times of the year so I often had to wait months before I could take a picture. ๐๐๐โจ๐ซ

So beautiful - I absolutely love the night sky! โจโจโจ
