Hello Beatle People!

To spread some crimble cheer, The Beatles Kink Meme is hosting the second annual Beatles Secret Santa Fanworks Exchange! Create (& receive!) a piece of fanwork: fanfic, fanart, fanvideo, or gif set!

Sign up! (Will close on October 30): give your contact info and other details about what type of gift you want to give and receive. 

Once you receive your assignment, create a gift that matches your giftee’s preferences. Remember to keep it a secret until the posting. But you can send anonymous messages to ask questions or just to wish your giftee a happy crimble! 

Have your gift completed by December 24-Jan 5 and during that time deliver your gift! You can post it to your tumblr and/or AO3 or submit it to the Beatles Kink meme. Be sure to tag your recipients.

You don’t need to have an ao3 account but we added a question regarding this because some people have different tumblr names from ao3

All fanfics should have a minimum of 500 words and all gifts should be completed.

Hey guys!

Going off my last post, I want to also start reading books about Bob Dylan and his life, but I don't know which books to read or which are the best or most accurate. So if any of you guys have any suggestions for books to read on Bob, please let me know! I'm open to reading anything about him that was written by people in his life like his ex gfs/wives or by peeople or researchers who know a lot about him. I'm planning on reading Chronicles: Vol. 1, The Philosophy of Modern Song and Tarantula by the man himself eventually, but I'm also looking for other books that go more in full depth into his life/career story. If you guys could give me any suggestions as a new Bob book reader, it would be much appreciated!

Omg guys, today my grandma (who is the only Beatles fan in my family, ugh) surprised me today and told me that she got us tickets to a Beatles tribute band concert in her city she lives in for an early (but actually late, since it's in January) Christmas present! We got third row seats so hell yeah. I know it's not really them and that it's just a tribute band but idk, it just feels so exciting since they are going to try and capture the boys musical magic (even if it's not as good as them, because they can never be). But I'm still excited nonetheless since people are still paying tribute to the boys like this, and that I will be able to see it with the only other Beatlemaniac in my family. I'll definitely post updates about it when it happens!

Omg this is so awesome! I posted my Paul drawing a while ago because he's pretty easy to draw for me, but I have also drawn the others as well. I would say to choose whoever you like the most or whoever's face you are the most familiar with or attracted to! By choosing whoever draws you in the most will help you come out with a better drawing I feel like. Choose whoever's features strike you the most or whoever you feel like would make a more interesting portrait, or even whoever you feel like would be the easiest to draw!

But if you really want a suggestion on who, I gotta go with George! His features are really intriguing to me so I love to draw his face, but ofc, the final decision is up to you! :D

Also, I would LOVE to see your art project when you are done with it if that's okay! I'm sure it would turn out amazing! Good luck! ❤️
