my dad got me a cactus with purple flowers because purple is my favourite colour, the flowers were fake and hot glued onto the very real very alive cactus.i pulled them off to get the hot glue off of the cactus and showed him how horrible it is that they hot glued flowers onto an alive plant, he says he got it because i like purple and now ive ripped the purple off. its some pained metaphor but its sweet how he tries

Jamie opened tonight!! it was insane, that buzz that feeling you get inside I forget how real it is, like electricity is in the air and everyone’s joy is palpable. I’ll really miss this. This community, everyone is friends, I’ll talk to the people I wouldn’t normally talk to and you stay on stage left cramped in with everyone and it feels so real.

I refuse to say it out loud and put it into the world but I know what I’m talking about.

WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK IM GAY? REALLY WHAT ABOUT ME RADIATES RAINBOWS? Nothing against gay people just I’m not and it means the boys I like will never see me the way they see my friends because maybe I’ll be affectionate with my friends and maybe I don’t dress like the walking talking stereotype of a teenage girl but god is it so hard to get a boy to even see me? To look at me like I’m not empty space?

mummy polishes the floor using surface polish. its really slippery and i fall down alot, currently i have bruises on both my legs. when i ask her to stop so i dont get hurt she yells and gets angry.

quite literally her need for perfection will kill us all. (figuratively and literally)

anyways,

the fact that we only have “herculean task” and “sisyphean task” feels so limiting. so here’s a few more tasks for your repertoire

icarian task: when you have a task you know you’re going to fail at anyways, so why not have some fun with it before it all comes crashing down

cassandrean task: when you have to deal with people you KNOW won’t listen to you, despite having accurate information, and having to watch them fumble about when you told them the solution from the start (most often witnessed in customer service)

feel free to chime in i ran out of ideas much faster than i anticipated

every post ive seen that is critizing percabeth (do what you want i find it very interesting so see other perspectives) ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS makes annabeth out to be an abusive demeaning belittleing bitch and for what reason? oh yeah because shes a girl (a smart strong girl) and percy is helpless and abused and weak and cant run away (a bad sterotype for abuse victims also but no one critizies that in the books just how annabeth is an abuser)
