Can you get a job with just html, css and Java? Basically just as a front end developer ? With square space, Shopify, and WordPress does this take away a lot of need for front end developers?
Also with ai becoming more prominent is it "useless" to just have front end experience and are more companies wanting more people with back end experience?
you will feel so alive again.. like so incredibly alive. i dont know when that will be but it will be. u are gonna feel so alive that ur cheeks hurt from smiling oh man oh man i promise that day is coming. you do have a future, you do have good things coming, and you’ll survive everything that’s thrown at you until you reach that day

Are there any good creators who post blender tutorials on patreon in the Sims community? Even out of the Sims community is cool too. I'm willing to pay for good quality tutorials with access to reach out to the person if I need help. Also if you know any creators who post nomad sculpt tutorials that would be awesome!
Hello everyone! We’ve posted about this previously, but we felt our message wasn’t clear enough, so here’s an updated post to avoid any confusion.
We’re super excited to announce our return to The Sims and some fantastic news about Stealthic! Hunter and Anna have teamed up to create a new company, making our operation even bigger and more enjoyable. We can’t wait to share our amazing creations with you all.
But before we do that, we need some help from this talented community.
This is a PAID position.
As we’re busy designing more hairstyles for everyone to enjoy, we’re seeking a skilled individual to help us convert our existing 3D Alpha Hair assets for use in The Sims 4.
Please note that we have a significant backlog of over 30 hairs that need converting, and we also require at least 4 hairs to be converted every month. Considering this workload, we believe that it may be too much for someone working in their free time. We are open to hiring more than one person if the workload is too much for a single individual.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Must be 18+ years old
- Experience working with 3D Alpha Hair meshes (rigging/fitting/problem solving)
- We provide the asset (NO need to know how to create alpha hair) - Ability to add non-alpha solid mesh pieces to the GIVEN ASSET to reduce transparency issues
- Scale the UV to fit Sims UV - Rig to breasts and spine - Deform for hat sizes (we provide blender scripts to make this easier)
- Each asset will be coming in 2-4 style variants that have to look the same at the end
- Must be able to voice chat on Discord in fluent English 3D software choice is up to the applicant, but please note that we only provide tools and assistance for Blender users. If you’re interested (EVEN IF YOU ALREADY APPLIED), please send us a short application via email to:
————–Team@QuietStudio.com————–
It doesn’t have to be formal, but please include information about your experiences, why you think you’re suitable for the job, your age, where you’re from, and confirm your ability to voice chat in English. Also, include your Discord tag in the application and let us know how much time a month you can reliably dedicate to this project. Please use the email subject line ‘Sims 4 Application’ when sending your email, so we can easily identify your application.
If we like your application, we’ll invite you to complete a test asset (1 style variant only) using a hair mesh we provide. Please note that this test is unpaid and the test asset will only be used for assessment purposes, not for any commercial use. The test will help us evaluate your skills and compatibility with our project.
Get ready for a fantastic future with Stealthic!
Just a heads up: We’re receiving applications from several people, and we can only choose one person. We’ll pick the individual who delivers the best quality, as it can’t be everyone! Good luck!
-The Stealthic aka Quiet Studio Team
Thank you so much for this detailed post! I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to write this! 💖
Ahh yes I did mean JavaScript 😣 today I learned they are two different things lol I thought it was just a short way of saying it lol, clearly I'm still learning a lot 😭
The reason I was asking basically if there are still good jobs available for front end is because I was on Reddit and everyone practically saying how hard it was to get a job, some senior front end developers and lots of junior developers. So then I started wondering if I should learn more back end and be full stack because that's what some people were saying they were doing in order to get a job or interviews on Reddit.
I definitely would love to work with e-commerce though and I have a little experience with Shopify and WordPress so that is reassuring. This makes a lot sense thank you! 😊
That's a great of example of what I want to learn, sometimes so many words get thrown around that I don't really know what to learn to achieve what I want so this list is very helpful thank you. Also really quick question, are boot camps helpful? I get mixed reviews and am extremely broke and in debt so I want to know if it's worth the money in the end. TIA.
Oh goodness the skills and experience job section is intimidating me because I don't know what any of it means 😭 the only words I recognize are html, css, JavaScript 🥴 so much too learn! I'll get there one day though! (Hopefully lol)
I will definitely look at more job postings today to see what the market's like, because it seems like there aren't many opportunities local so remote might be the way to go.
Again thank you very much for your help, it helped me understand and see what I need to work on, also gave me A LOT more clarity on things I was confused about 😊

Any simmers have a thermal printer and experience with it? I'm planning on making thermal printer labels/stickers, but I don't have one yet and I want to see what they would look like or if there would be any issues. Bonus, you would get free designs lol
I swear I'm not a bot 😭 I'm just a cc addict... *I mainly play sims 4, but a little bit of sims 2 as well
