If there’s one thing Ghost hates about Soap, it’s his friendliness. Not that he’s annoying, Ghost would have never gotten the chance to know him without it. He hates how Soap hates to make a fuss. He hates how easy-going he is.

Soap is dramatic, sure, but only jokingly. His favorite pastime is annoying Gaz or Ghost and then howling like a kicked dog when they show the slightest of it. He loves to joke, especially—at least it seems to Ghost-if it’s at his own expense, his own humility.

Soap is not inattentive, he’s not a push over, at least when it comes to others. He’s loyal, and he’s vicious when its someone else is hurt, but never when it’s him. Any blatant slight rolls off him with a joke, and any subtle one goes un-commented on.

Ghost hates it, hates how Soap bites his tongue and looks away. Hates how he doesn’t fight back.

am i really alone in the ghostsoap fandom thinking that soap still didn't get his simon revelation in mw2 unlike ghost who got it at the first sir and even more when soap proposed himself to meet valeria, like alone mission confirms it and his extremely worried soap in the last mission confirms it even more
