Gotta say I really appreciate how Agents of Shield made Daniel Sousa so obviously protective of Daisy but avoided the horrible macho “get behind me, i’ll deal with it” trope and instead made him incredibly nurturing and gentle in a “please make sure you look after yourself because your wellbeing is important too” way and a “you deserved to be looked after and supported too” kinda way and that’s just so incredibly hot to me
