I didn’t like the “let’s make Duncan and Isadora love interests” change BUT I loved Violet teasing Klaus about it that was adorable 

yeah seeing Lemony’s face is a bit weird but I like the Twilight Zone Narration thing he’s got going 

this one’s probably an Unpopular Opinion but I liked the shake-up of the Baudelaires going to the miserable mill on their own instead of it just being another guardian. did it open up a few plotholes? well yeah but it was a change to the format (which was a bit needed for a tv show made for binging, people would notice the repetitive plots faster than in a series of books released over a long period of time) 

“What can’t be beat?” “A DEAD HORSE!” 

The Hook-Handed Man being able to understand Sunny 

getting to see the end of the Hostile Hospital chase in the records room was heartbreaking and I loved it thanks 

that scene where Olaf runs into the Quagmires and they’re just like “who the fuck are you” 

the Baudelaires slowly realizing the only way someone could climb up the elevator shaft is if they had very small hands and they turn around to find out that Sunny, Chaotic Goddess that she is, is already like twenty feet up 

the spyglasses and book are pretty cool ngl

the entirety of “That’s Not How the Story Goes” 

Carmelita’s songs and dances 

anything Esme does ever (especially the coffee joke in thh) 

literally all of the atwq references and most of the references to stuff that will show up later
