my chronic illness flares up cause i don't get enough sleep, but i don't get enough sleep cause of my chronic illness

i explained to my teacher today that my medical condition won't just go away, there is no cure... he said that it can't be true, because he can't believe that all you're being told is "you just gotta live with it"

he also said i shouldn't choose my carreer path depending on how doable it would be with my illnees, but this is my reality... i need to consider things like that

there are things i need to do, but i can't cause i'm sick

i hate when i, a completely healthy person (very chronically ill), get sick (flare up) for no reason at all (i exerted myself way past my limit just cuz i didn’t wanna be “annoying”)

one good thing about being chronically ill that i learned about this week is when you need to drive your friend to the hospital for drinking too much alcohol you know your way around and exactly where to go
