Alunite: Non toxic but soluble in water

Anglesite: Toxic and slightly soluble in water

Arsenopyrite: Potentially toxic

Azurite: Harmful

Azurite-Malachite: Harmful

Azurite-Pseudomalachite: Harmful

Bunsenite: Toxic; allergen; avoid skin contact

Calomel: Possibly hazardous to health

Cerussite: Toxic

Chalcanthite: Harmful; easily soluble in water

Cinnabar: Very toxic!

Cinnabar-Opal: The cinnabar stored in the opal is toxic

Crocoite: Toxic 

Cuprite: Harmful

Durangite: Potentially toxic

Eclipse Stone: Limestone with orpiment, toxic

Eilat Stone: Harmful

Erythrite: Potentially toxic

Fiedlerite: Toxic

Fluorite, Antozonite variety: Potentially harmful

Galenite: Toxic and slightly soluble in water

Gaspeite: Harmful; allergen; avoid skin contact

Greenockite: Toxic

Halite: Not toxic in small quantities, but dissolves easily in water

Iron-nickel Meteorite: Harmful; allergen; avoid skin contact

Jamesonite: Potentially toxic

Lemon Chrysoprase: Potentially harmful; allergen; avoid skin contact

Lopezite: Very toxic! Hazardous even through skin contact

Malachite: Harmful

Millerite: Toxic; allergen; avoid skin contact

A conversation I had with an atheist friend:

Them: “So, you believe in a mighty sky wizard?  You?”

Me: “No.”

Them: “Oh, good. I-”

Me: “I believe in a trickster sea wizard, a poetic blacksmith goddess, a trio of bloodied, prophetesses and a highly skilled, porridge-loving, well endowed god.”

Them: “…alright then.”

Me: “They say hi.”

Go ahead and live with your head held high. No matter how devastated you may be by your own weakness or uselessness, set your heart ablaze.

Witchcraft 101

So you want to be a witch! Here is my own mini guide to help you get started~

First, ask yourself: 1. What are my interests? How could these interests be incorporated into my personal craft? For example, if you love to cook or bake, kitchen witchery may be something you’d like to explore. If you have a passion for nature, you may like to explore green witchery. The list is endless. If multiple paths interest you, explore them all! You don’t need to pick just one. You may be an eclectic witch. Eclectic witches incorporate many different paths to form their own unique path!

Types of witches include (but are not limited to): kitchen, green, sea, cosmic, hedge, urban, traditional, elemental, eclectic, weather, chaos, divination, etc.

There is also Wicca. However, ignore everything by Silver Ravenwolf.

In addition, there is Druidry, Celtic polytheism, Norse polytheism, Hellenic polytheism, Kemeticism, Christian witchcraft, and more.

You do not have to be religious to be a witch! Many see witchcraft as a skill. Not all witches worship Satan. Witches are not “good” or “evil.” Take everything you read, by anyone, with a grain of salt. Witchcraft is highly personal, and there is a lot of misinformation floating about. Not everything will be factual.

Fancy tools are not a requirement! Tools you make or find by yourself in nature will work just as well (and usually better!) Make your wand from a stick you find on a hike, for example! Then you can customize it however you wish. Add crystals, ribbons, glitter, just make it YOURS! The same thing goes for your Grimoire. You can just use a normal notebook, or binder, and personalize it. You don’t have to spend big money on a book (unless you want to). Witchcraft can be as simple or elaborate as you want it to be. There is much more to explore than in this post alone, so stay tuned for additional posts on a variety of topics! Feel free to shoot me an ask if you have any questions! Trans Disabled Witch Needs Help

Hey witchblr,

I know I’m not incredibly well known through the witchcraft community, but I really need help.

Since February I’ve been experiencing PTSD related seizures that have essentially rendered me completely disabled and nearly completely bed ridden most days. I’m no longer legal to drive or safe to be alone for long periods of time, I’ve had to quit working almost entirely, and I depend completely on my partners. Soon I’m going to be wearing one of these to track my heart because I’ve been having serious palpitations and issues regarding my heart. Just this Wednesday I was in the ER for what could have been a heart attack.

Recently things took a sharp downhill swing, and I’m in need of some serious help. My medical debt is skyrocketing from trips to the ER, to weekly therapy sessions that I can’t keep up with. My living situation is also a toxic mess that I need out of asap, my home is no longer safe for me. I realized I can’t explain in detail but will answer all private PMs on the subject.
