I think it really depends on the person, some things that work for me don’t work for others and vise versa, in my opinion it’s usually a little bit of trial and error to find what works best for you!

To those who have swept or have blown the leaves from the walk, have rinsed the dishes or dusted their screens, Hestia looks on you from beneath her veil. She smiles, then wraps a shawl made of sunlit October air around you.

Hear me oh Muses!

I sing the praises of the wondrous Aphrodite Pandemos, Common to all people.

Mighty and powerful are you fair-haired Aphrodite,

Your radiance is a gift upon all mortal beings who would look upon your visage,

I humble myself before your altar that weeps golden tears of frankincense in your honor.

I imagine myself along the shores of the island of your birth with you by my side,

Enchanting Aphrodite Paphos, mistress of Kypris.

I feel your presence in all beautiful things great goddess,

I look at nature and see your gentle touch, Aphrodite Doritis, the bountiful.

I look at the ocean of your birth and see your smile in the waves, Aphrodite Pontia, of the waves.

I see visions of your mighty temple in Korinthos, your devotees showing people your truth,

The gift of the mighty Aphrodite Praxis, of sexual activity, for you, are she of shapely form.

those little things on ur nose aren’t blackheads, don’t try and get rid of them they’re sebaceous filaments and they’re permanent and literally everyone has them

every girl has that little pouch of fat on her lower tummy, despite what magazines try n show u, you have important organs there that need to be protected don’t try and get rid of ur pouch

ur body is smarter than u think and it knows what to do when u eat more than normal. one bad day, or even week, of eating poorly isn’t gonna ruin anything at all I pinky promise

if u think u look good up until u try taking a selfie, it’s not ur fault - our faces are asymmetrical and when u see ur face flipped it will look unnatural to u, since u don’t see it that way when u look in the mirror. to everyone else it looks perfectly fine

no one’s stomach looks the same at 8pm as it does at 8am. no one has a chiseled six pack after a day of eating, not even the super fit people u see on tumblr, because ur stomach naturally expands after eating and expecting to have a flat tummy before bed is very unrealistic

no one notices if the bags under ur eyes are bad today. no one pays attention to the bump in ur nose or the zit on ur chin or the piece of hair that u missed when u were straightening. literally no one notices these things except you so stop worrying about it ur gonna be fine

Self Care Spell Jar

Ingredients: A piece of my hair. Sugar to sweeten my attitude. Lavender to help me keep calm and bring happiness to my life. Dandelion to make my wishes come true. Agrimony and Juniper, for protection. Mullen for courage and motivation. Cardamom pods to attract love and lust. Orange peel, for luck and happiness. Rose for self love. Jasmine for love and protection. Cinnamon for love and money. And my favorite ingredient .. Orchid flowers fully bloomed, for inner peace and a reminder that I to will bloom beautifully.

I put sage on the top of the jar for a final cleansing and sealed it up with a white candle.

Ritual Music for Space Witches

Some spacecraft and telescopes are equipped with sensors that allow them to record radio emissions from various celestial bodies. These recording can make for excellent background “music” for meditation or during rituals. I like to work with the planetary hours and playing the radio emissions from the planet I’m working with is a great way to draw in and harness it’s energy. 

I’ve complied a list of some of these recordings. I’ve only included videos 30 minutes or longer so that you won’t have to restart them mid-ritual.
