Regulus has an angry little cat called Augustus and it fucking hates Sirius

For no reason

It will sit in the doorway and glare at him whenever he comes around

It loves everyone else but it has some really random hatred for Sirius specifically and nobody can figure out why but regulus doesn't care enough to try and resolve the issue

I always imagined that although Sirius defied Walburga in many ways, Regulus also had a bit of that rebel in him.

When Sirius and Regulus were young, Walburga never let them have anything sweet. She wanted them to look good all the time and meet the standards of the Noble and Ancient House of Black. Whenever they even tried to secretly get any type of sweet from Kreature, she would end up knowing and always get extremely angry.

Although Sirius defied her as soon as he sat on the train to Hogwarts, he ended up disliking the first candy he tried and never tried it again. (Bertie Botts every flavour beans)

However, Regulus, being the rebel he is, started to keep a huge stash of all types of candy hidden in his room where not even Barty or Evan could find it. It has every candy you could even think of. He especially keeps candies that all his friends liked. Regulus would also be the one to introduce a good candy to Sirius which would make him start liking candies too. 

Regulus would also keep candies in his pockets, with each day of the week having a different type of candy. He would also try and bribe people with candy every now and then.

YES he says that he is intimidating serious adult with a job, very very grown-up very serious— and then— and then he just takes all the shinies bc "i need this, yep, really need this"

I like the fact that when Vast is going through chests and stuff, he only takes the shiny things. Like the magpie he is.

I just realized that the lack of acceptance for asexuals is literally the dumbest thing. Like, you can’t handle the thought of two dudes kissing? Okay you’re dumb and terrible whatever. But you can’t handle the idea… Of someone… Not kissing anyone? What are you worried about? They’re gonna eat too much mac n cheese?? Draw too many dinosaurs??? Tell me

Is Sylphs hair dyed? If so whats their natural hair color?

(as a bonus, if it is dyed, how would touch ups happen, if not, how would they explain that if someone asked?/nf)

i don't think it is dyed, i think their hair is just Like That. perks of being a hummingbird avian, i suppose :)

when they were little, like really little, it was mostly green, and then when they got older the pink started taking over, kinda similar to how actual baby anna's hummingbirds don't have the pink until they're older!

also if someone asked them if their hair was dyed they'd ask you what hair dye is

"ohh thorin trusts Bilbo above his own family and kin because he just loves him sooo much because I think romantic love is superior to any other form of love" or maybe it was he was experiencing a severe episode of paranoid psychosis and he implicitly trusted Bilbo because he was the only person in the Company who didn't have any preexisting, longstanding loyalities to him (as a King or brother-in-arms or Family or otherwise) and followed him purely out his own desire to and he saw Bilbo stay by his side even after his contract had ended even though he knew how much he wanted to go home (and had every reason to at that point). maybe it was because he knew Bilbo would had nothing to gain by betraying him (re: no birthright to the crown, no desire for riches or property, etc). Maybe he believed he could confide into Bilbo because he felt like he felt like he wasn't responsible for his safety in the same way he felt responsible for his nephews or his kin (as their King), and he no longer need to mantain any sort of formalities or barriers with him (because Thorin is not. his. King).

sorry I just refuse to believe Thorin doesn't love his nephews as much as he loves Bilbo (someone who he'd only known for 6~ months at that point) and I think there's a lot of better ways to explain his behavior here
