serious question: is elias bouchard just. allergic. to employing straight people. anytime he looks at his employees, he's like "ah yes, i know who we've got here. bi ace man who really shouldn't be in a managerial role, man who will fall in love with his boss who barely talks to him, a lovely young woman who probably isn't straight, a man who fucks with cops of all genders for information, an angry lesbian, an aromantic ex cop, and Daisy Tonner." peter lukas comes in like "have you considered employing some heterosexuals?" and elias just goes "nope"
"what would Adam Parrish do?" I ask, during my shift because I am tired and cranky but I need the money. "What would Adam Parrish do?" I ask, when I want to sleep but I have school to work on. "What would Adam Parrish do?" I ask myself daily.
The answer should have been "buckle down and get shit done" but I guess the wires got crossed and now the Adam in my head says human sacrifice looks pretty good actually-
I like that Adam canonically makes gay jokes at ronan to rile him up, like he’s such a bitch if love it
Obviously the “I’m always straight” “oh man that’s the biggest lie you’ve ever told” is the most iconic one but my fav is in bllb
When Adam and ronan r in the dollar store before the church stuff, and ronan points out piper green mantle, Adam like “I didn’t think she was ur type” like stfu Adam I love u 😭
having ocs is such a weird experience. what do you mean that me and 3 of my friends are the only ones that care about the little guy in my head? what do you mean that other people can listen to die young by Kesha without crying thinking about my little guy? I'll see a post and go "wow I should show this to [oc]" and remember shes a literal figment of my imagination.
im trying to learn guitar as my, like.. 10th insturment and it is taking LONGER THAN I WOULD LIKE. can someone please explain to me how to switch chords so fast my fingers dont do that.
people are literally so boring a male character will kill 10000 people and steal candy from babies and theyll be like omg thats my king! but a female character is rude once and theyre like i hope she dies violently
When Sasha hosts her first D&D session, Michael isn’t invited, really, but it shows up regardless; clutching a character sheet and set of resin dice whose insides swirl around in a way that gives everyone a headache. Jon is ready to kick it out immediately, but Sasha vouches for it, and somehow they begin the game with it in their party.
None of them claim to know the Distortion, but they expected a chaotic character — a wild mage or barbarian, maybe. They don’t expect a lore bard, especially not a human one, and especially not one of such a kindly demeanor. It’s strange, watching Michael switch between voicing its character and describing its actions to Sasha, as though they’re actually playing with two distinct Spiral avatars instead of one.
As the campaign continues, they discover just how many little details it put into its character. He likes colorful tunics and warm scarves. He thinks lilies are pretty. He’s somehow “more of a doormat than Martin”, as Tim puts it. He was an acolyte before becoming an adventurer. Dungeons and Dragons is a game all about constructing elaborate lies wrapped around a grain of truth, after all.
And if Jon Knows something about this character, this strange creation that seems to fit Michael like a second skin, he chooses not to say.
As promised, it has been done.

Tim, sitting upside down in a rolly chair: Hey Sash, would you still love me if I was a worm?
Jon and Martin, swiveling around: a WHAT?!
Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Raven Cycle - Maggie Stiefvater Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Ronan Lynch/Adam Parrish, Ronan Lynch & Blue Sargent Characters: Ronan Lynch, Blue Sargent, Adam Parrish, Richard Gansey III Additional Tags: Alternate Universe- No Supernatural, Wedding Planning, Mistaken Identity, Meet-Cute, Fluff, Humor, background Gansey/Cheng Summary:
Ronan hates basically everything about their business, or that’s what he tells Blue, but the worst part is that he’s constantly meeting cute guys and none of them are single.
I spent most of The Dream Thieves convincing myself I was misreading the "Ronan is gay" subtext and man it was the most exciting thing I've ever experienced to find out I was right
Not least because, early in the book at Nino's when Kavinsky is insinuating that Ronan is in love with Gansey I had a moment of "oh wouldn't it be interesting if Ronan actually was in love with Gansey? Well actually they don't strike me as romantically compatible." And so I thought to myself "well if Ronan was gay who would it make sense and be characteristic for him to have feelings for?" and before I even finished the thought my brain said "ADAM"
And we never looked back (except for the subsequent 50 chapters because it seemed too good to be true for a minute there)
