Come on Boris, your country needs you buddy.
Something I quite enjoy is taking night time silhouettes just a couple I done tonight..
I had a great time the other night at the RAs’ Leon Spilleart exhibition, this was a new artist to me and one I really like.
Loved the use of multiple media used in one picture and the gothic dark tones, these could have been done recently but areover 100 years ago. This is well worth a visit to the RA for, go check it out...
Mercedes 420sl, just brought one, can anyone recommend a company that does retro seats, the seats I have are. I’ve, injust need to fort small ones so I can fit in the car!!!
A cross between a Lotus seat and a vintage Ferrari seat is what I’m ideally looking for.
Oh and a good restoration company as well, near to HP10 (UK).
RIP Mr Nicholas Parsons, sale of the century, just a minute and my all time favourite comedy film and one I watched tonight, in his memory, is Mr Jolly Lives Next Door. Gone but not forgotten...
I went to the new Eco- visionaries exhibition at the Royal Accadamy in London, I enjoyed it mostly, it was short/small, some pieces where good, but it did seem a bit hastily put together, it needed to be more harder hitting to get the message through/over.
I liked the jelly fish experience and the world in dirty water. Go if you’re local, or in London anyway, but it’s not worth a long trip!!!!
I thought I would share this gorgeous photo of Dexter, great light and no camera (iPhone) shake.
It’s fungus season, wahoo, I love taking photos of mushrooms etc, not sure why but it’s fun.
I recently attended the RA Freud exhibition, lovely little show, mainly portraits, quite intimate, and gives a nice show of development over time of his style, from would be graphic artist to well known portrait painter, I love going late on Fridays for some reason it just seems so much more relaxed.
Finely got the Porsche 914 out ready to send off for a quote to restore, should be ready for next year and it’s 50th Birthday (and mine!!!). Anyone in the UK South East want to quote let me know...
I thought I would share this with you, I, just, saw this guy crawling across my screen, he must have been no bigger than a grain of sand, I bet he thought he was tripping going across this screen, that or the worlds largest disco floor, Night Fever anyone...
It’s not a virus it’s a bug!!!
Went to the Anthony Gormley exhibition at the RA, loved it, just my type of art, the best bit for me, and which is often over looked, was his sketches/ideas, great to see how they start off.
If your in London it’s well worth a visit, I’m going again on Friday this time I’m going to buy the silver Gormley lapel badge, they had run out last time!!!
Found this in the middle of a footpath on our dog walk today, it wasn’t there yesterday, I’m pretty sure it’s a cat, it looks like someone tried to bbq it, I couldn’t see any of the other legs. But why suddenly just show up! Out of respect I placed it in a nerby hedge. Very odd
I went to the Serpentine Nights, last night, for the Kiko/Vanilla installation, ok, but it’s been done before and better executed, so not really impressed by that, pavilion was amateurist as well, could do better guys/girls!!!
Got home, and as it was 50years anniversary of Woodstock watched a great film about Jimi Hendrixs’ closing act, stunning, what a genius he was, and to a minimal crowed as well (most had gone home by the time he came on!!!).
All in all an interesting evening.
Two years ago today, I’ll never forget you little fup, my little Ray, until we meet again...x
Dextor and Otis having a great time on Lyme Regis beach, found some fossils but no mammoth bones!!!!
Abbey Road, the zebra crossing that featured in the iconic beatles cover and named album, the actual photo. was taken fifty years ago today. Some say that Paul had passed away and replaced with a look-a-like in the photo, but who knows!!! Either way it’s such an iconic image.
I recently attended the Helene Schjerfbeck exhibition at the RA London, I’m not a great fan of Impressionism so was a little reluctant but glad I did, great little show and worth it for the portraits at least, this one, on the left, I thought looked like Taylor Swift. One happy Otis having just been on a walk this evening.
Finns Law, dog pictured is Finn who protected the police officer D Wardell from being stabbed, and in the process was stabbed himself many times, (know as) comes into effect today, UK, giving much greater protection to service dogs and horses in the eyes of the law, basically almost similar to that of humans, and about time to!
A step closer to my all time favourite quote from Leonardo DV. “I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look upon the murder of men. Truly man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds them.”
I really like the new Taylor Swift video, reminds me of Austin Powers films...
I was always told not to get water in dogs ears, esp when washing them, yet they go swimming and clearly go under water!!!
For Mother’s Day I gave my Mum, amongst other things, a jigsaw which was an image of a Boston under water trying to grab a ball, who looks just like my Dextor, I love this so much, great work Rocco whoever you are!!!
Just seen this “amazing” photo of J’Lo, she’s the same age as me, and it’s really inspired me to step up my exorcising, I’m a male by the way. Wow girl, just wow!!!
Just played a Prodigy song, in the office! to mark this sad yet beautiful day.
Rest in peace Keef
R.I.P Keith Flint, fuck, just heard the sad news, one band I’ve always wanted to see, massive loss/shock!!!
