I found one of my secret stashes of chocolate M&M’s, they where nearly 20 years old, but, as I had no chocolate in the house, decided to eat them, and actually they weren’t too bad!!!
I had a great time the other night at the RAs’ Leon Spilleart exhibition, this was a new artist to me and one I really like.
Loved the use of multiple media used in one picture and the gothic dark tones, these could have been done recently but areover 100 years ago. This is well worth a visit to the RA for, go check it out...
A great day out in the Cotswolds, treated the pups, and Mum to plate of sausages...Mum passed out on the pub bench.
Mercedes 420sl, just brought one, can anyone recommend a company that does retro seats, the seats I have are. I’ve, injust need to fort small ones so I can fit in the car!!!
A cross between a Lotus seat and a vintage Ferrari seat is what I’m ideally looking for.
Oh and a good restoration company as well, near to HP10 (UK).
Happy Birthday pups (Ray, Dexter & Otis), and well done Mum, Tallulah. Can't believe it's already three years ago that I helped her bring these (and Terri & Frayer) into the world. They have been great pups though...
What a beautiful photo...
Strange jellyfish invasion...
Mini Museum, my first one was delivered today and I love it...
Hi, What modern pref fab houses would you recommend.
I'm almost done my undergrad in History and minor in Art History but I've always thought about going into architecture. at this point i want to take a break from school before going further. The only thing is I'm stuck on what to do now. I'm trying to find a job at an architecture firm but because I don't have much experience/background yet and with a bad economy here its not looking promising. Do you have any suggestions on how I should move forward in the mean time?
It will be tough getting a job in an architecture firm where you are competing with people finishing architecture degrees.
Do you know anyone that can help you get your foot in a firm? A friend, family, professor?
Have you tried contacting architecture firms that do historic preservation work and might be looking for someone that can do historical research? It might be a way to bridge your interests.
Have you tried organizations that offer services to architects or the government like the AIA or an historic preservation review board?
Have you spoken to a professor or counselor at your university, maybe they have summer programs or know about a summer program to get you started?
