the look of love —pedri

that one interview from iker casillas but make it pedri

players come and go, in a chaos of interviews and journalists trying to get a big headline. i spot pedri quickly and realize he's walking straight to me, waving and saying hello to a couple people on the way.

he looks beautiful, as always, but the aura that surrounds him tonight is one of confidence and true happiness and i find myself not being able to take my eyes off of him as he approaches.

the camera man gets ready and i welcome him, "hi pedri, thank you for giving us some time", i say while he nods to me.

"first of all congratulations on the title! i know it's really hard to put it into words but tell us how you feel right now, after winning the first trophy of the season with the club", i say with a big smile.

the way he looks at me always makes a mess in my stomach, because he is the definition of heart eyes but right now, with the thin layer of sweat that's covering his forehead, those red cheeks he always has whenever he plays, and that sweet smile that drives me crazy it's hard not to be all over him.

he laughs, high on the thrill that winning gives him and drunk in the sight of you, "yeah it's always very special to win with my club, and specially against madrid, but it's even more exciting now that i have you here to celebrate with me."

my eyes widen and he laughs even harder now, his eyes getting smaller with each smile. my cheeks are now burning red, while a thousand spiraling thoughts cross my mind.

i guess we can call that one hell of a hardlaunch.

then a second later, his hand is on my cheek, my microphone is out of the way and he joins our lips together in a quick kiss, he pulls away an inch, then gives me a peck on the lips.

i let out a small sigh, "t- thank you for the interview" i manage to say in my most profesional voice, as his hand drops from my cheek and swiftly grabs my free hand.

"te quiero" (i love you), he mouths as he walks backwards and turns to leave to meet his teammates.

he just fucking KISSED ME on live TV.

i end the interview thanking the people watching the channel for choosing us and then my camera man and who is grinning like an idiot lowers the camera.

"well you DID get a big headline", he says, while i just cover my face with my hands giggling.

i'm soooo gonna kill him for this later.

flowers and rain –mick schumacher.

short story i wrote a while ago <3

pov: you and mick took a break, but he shows up on your birthday to talk to you.

you hear a knock on your door. "did you guys order anything?", you ask your friends while you walk to the door. you open it and your heart starts jumping on your chest as you lock eyes with the last person you thought would be standing outside of your apartment. mick gives you a shy smile, holding on for dear life on the flowers he bought for you.

"happy birthday, sunshine", he says, and you can't help but want to wrap your arms around him and never let him go. all the emotions you have been pushing away for the past 4 months come at you like a wave, drowning you. your eyes water and you give in, closing the distance between the two of you. you wrap your arms around his neck and hug him, closing your eyes, allowing yourself one moment of selfishness. you feel his arms quickly wrap around your waist and you inhale his minty scent, one that you never seem to get enough from.

"thank you, micky", you whisper against his ear. god you've missed him. the hug ends as you both separate from each other, although the minute that is over you are already missing the feeling of his body close to yours. you need to pull yourself together as he gives you the flowers. of course they have to be lilies, mick never forgets how much you love them. you accept them and you extend your arm and signal him to come inside. he does and you close the door, but he quickly stops and turns to look at you.

"i'm sorry i'm here this late", he says. "i just- really needed to see you, and wish you a happy birthday".

"it's fine, we stayed up chatting and all", you say. "mom and the girls came and we had a little party here".

speaking of them, angi calls out to you from your room. "y/n who is it? hurry up or we are gonna eat all the ice cream".

"i'm coming!", you yell at her.

"if you don't mind, i'd really like to talk to you", mick glances at the door and then at you again, feeling nervous. "but if you're busy i'll just-"

"no, don't go", you blurt, hating how needy you sound. but you cant stand the idea of him going away again. you are familiar with the pain that causes. "let me go tell them you're here and we can go to the rooftop and talk privately". you search for a vase to put the flowers on before going to your room. you open the door and put your hand on your mouth, still processing the fact that the boy you love is right outside waiting to talk to you.

your friends all give you confused looks.

"what's wrong? who was it?", mom asks you.

"mick is outside. he brought me flowers. and told me he needed to see me. and talk to me. and oh wish me a happy birthday like he doesn’t know that the best present i could receive is him standing outside of my door", you tell them as you simultaneously see them all open their mouths to form a perfect "o". "so i'm gonna leave you here, and i'm gonna go outside to talk to him, so behave", you say and you don't give them a chance to say anything as you slip away from the room and come back to mick. you both leave the apartment and take the stairs to the rooftop in silence.

what does he want to talk to you about? has he missed you like you've missed him? does he also want to get together because he finds that the world without you does not seem as colorful as it was before? is he gonna tell you he met somebody else and your break is more than over? thousand of questions swirl in your mind. you get to the rooftop and you take the both of you to the pair of chairs that are always in here but he shakes his head, as you hear thunder from afar.

"i would rather not sit. since i've been sitting during most of my trip", he says, his hand rubbing the back of his neck. he always does that when he's nervous.

you let out a sigh and decide to get this over with and finally know what's going on. "why are you here?"

"you know i've never been able to lie to you, even if i were, it would never be possible for me to hide how much i miss you. because i do, y/n, so fucking much", his blue eyes look sincere, and you feel the sudden need to cry. because it is obvious the break has affected you both the same way. "i understand why we decided to take a break, and it honestly seemed like the right call at the time, but it clearly wasn't. not when i can't seem to stop longing for you at every moment of the day. so i am here now, willing to put my heart out for you but most importantly willing to listen how you feel. and finally end this doubt that eats me alive every day.", his hands grip mine as he gives me a sweet look. "do you miss me too?"

"of course i do, micky. and this break has caused more pain than good. i know we were not in the best position when we decided to part ways for some time, but it was nothing compared to the hollow feeling that is not having you with me." you feel the first drops of rain on your skin, you let go of his hands and take your hands to cup his cheeks. "i love you, mick schumacher, and not even a hundred breaks could make that go away".

rain starts falling from the sky as he closes the gap between the two of you. he kisses you with a burning passion, trying to show you just how much he has thought about this moment. your hands go to his hair and his hands grip your hips. the rain keeps coming down on you. not all the words in the world could describe the kiss, and all the magic it came with it. you break the kiss breathless, and you can't help but to smile at the beautiful boy in front of you, with his red lips and his hair soaking wet.

"this kiss? and under the rain?", you murmur against his lips. "best birthday present i could ever receive". he laughs as you hug him, your head resting on his chest, and his head resting above yours.

"i love you. promise me you will never forget that." he says, closing his eyes.

"i promise", you vow, thinking you couldn't be more in love with him.

slightly inspired for that one scene from little women

pov: felipe decides to confess his feelings for you after he finds out he might lose you.

"marcus snached that win from me really. it was a great move the one he did at the beginning of the race." clément goes on, he can't shut up about yesterday's race.

felipe rolls his eyes. "yeah well i really don't want to hear more about mar-"

"and now after that win he's definitely getting y/n to go with him on that trip he told me about, and since they've been seeing each other for some time he's gonna ask her for the real deal. you know i always thought y/n kind of liked you a bit but well-", clément says rapidly, but felipe feels every word like an heavy weight dropping on his heart.

"he's gonna do what?", felipe furrows his eyebrows. marcus and y/n in a serious relationship? he feels out of breath. the thought of losing you choking him.

"yeah he really likes her and she seems happy with him so he told me he would organize a trip and he would talk to her-"

"when? did he tell you when is the trip happening?", he stands up, as he grabs his phone to message you.

are you at the hotel?

he presses send.

"mmhm i don't know, he said he would tell her after the race but i don't know when or where are they going", clém says, weirded out by felipe's sudden change of mood.

"i gotta go, talk to you later", he quickly says as he heads out to go find you.

he won't let you go. he can't. no matter how much he tells himself you deserve better than him. and no matter how many times he tries to be with another girl, it doesn't change his feelings for you, those feelings that he tries to hide and bury deep inside of him.

his phone sounds. it's you.

yes.

you reply.

he's gonna tell you everything.

you're packing your stuff when you hear a knock on your door. it's him.

"hey", you say.

"hey. are you busy?", he asks.

"just packing", you answer. you shouldn't but you step aside and you let him in. like you always do.

he stays quiet for a bit as you come back to the bed to put the remaining things inside your bag.

"don't go on that trip", he lets out, with his face full of pain. the pain of fully losing you. and he hates how selfish he is. "don't go with him."

you freeze, hating him, hating this, hating what he still does to you. "don't you dare", you say, your lips forming a straight line, trying to pull yourself together before him. you keep your eyes on the bag, incapable of looking at him. there is no way he's doing this now, after all these years.

"i'm sorry", he shakes his head as he walks closer to you.

"so now that you've got no one, now it's the time that you decide to do this huh? when you have no one better, that's when you come for me.", your eyes water.

he doesn't hesitate to cup your cheeks and make you look at him straight in the eye, "don't you ever say that again. not when everytime i was with someone i compared them to you, always tired of thinking how would it be if they were you. and i got sick of it, sick of staying behind, sick of trying to deny how you've always been the one i want to be with. you are and will always be too good for me, but i can't let you go and lose forever the opportunity to be with you and become the man that you deserve."

tears fall from your eyes. you don't say a word, thoughts still running through your mind. he has always wanted you but never did because he thought he didn't deserve you?

"fuck you", you let out, looking to his eyes. he doesn't look away, he holds you gaze and he slightly nods.

"ask me to leave and i will", his hands don't leave your face. he knows you won't ask that. he knows you, he knows what he has to do, and what he wants to do.

"fuck you."

seconds that feel like years go by, until one of his hands goes behind your head and he closes the gap once and for all. the kiss is intense, fierce, there's no holding back now. you're both mad at each other for waiting so long for this to happen. your entire body is in flames, the kiss lightning up a fire in you. your hands are on his neck, you kiss him relentlessly.

you're both selfish, choosing each other after everything that has happened. him finally coming to you after you've been loving him all this time. and you choosing him even after that, because even though marcus makes you feel so special, you know you would always made this choice. it would always be felipe, no matter what, no matter after how long.

the kiss ends and you join your foreheads together, you can feel him slightly shaking his head.

"i love you", he says. "is it too late?"

you let out a sigh. "it will never be too late for you." and that's irrevocably the truth.
