as i heal, i realize it’s no one’s loss. he might never get his karma. he will find someone better. he is not the one that got away. he is not avoidant. he is not manipulative. he is not narcissistic. he will not miss me. he will forget me.
we are just a passing moment.
that’s because i cannot invent a narrative out of what happened. i can only see the facts as they are and that is— we are not meant for each other.
we deserve better and i have accepted that we cannot be better for each other. while the love is there, but some things just dont work out, they dont last, they will not stay.
i probably don’t deserve the pain, but that is just how it is: we are both good people doing our best in life. we are both good people in search of a love that will stay, and truth of the matter is we cannot make each other stay. and it’s okay!
i’m tired of being angry, of painting myself as a victim, of putting myself on a losing end.
this grief is just love that has nowhere to go.
with that, i am letting him go with love— that i trust that he will find what’s best for him, and i also have to trust myself that i will find what’s best for me.
in arriving at this conclusion, it was not easy, but it’s worth it.
hence, i don’t know if this is a blessing or a tragedy, because despite all the pain, i can still love deeply. 🤍🥰
There is so much more life to live when you stop constantly obsessing over who will think you're a bad person or not understand you
I am learning this in the tiniest bites but it pierces me deeply

it’s both comforting and heartbreaking that over time you will slowly forget the little details of someone you once loved so deeply until their memory is just a hazy blur like a dream you once had and can’t quite remember anymore

standing on being better
build a circle of friends who are genuine. who are safe energetically. who are mature spiritually. who hold space and not animosity. who hold compassion and not judgment. who take time to check on you and your process. who grow through life with you + wish you well.
