Important bee discourse ↑↑↑
Is using honey bad? It would be hard for me to give that up because I love it so much.
16 oz of honey requires 1152 bees to travel 112,000 miles and visit 4.5 million flowers.
Most of the honey we get at supermarkets and stores don’t come from natural hives.
Honey is an animal product, produced when bees digest nectar they have collected and then regurgitate it. It is an animal product, just like an egg or milk. Yes, a bee is an insect and not technically considered an animal by many people, but a bee’s body changes the composition of what it ingests, just like other animals. However, there is another reason vegans won’t eat honey, and that is because it is harmful to another living creature. According to Daniel Hammer, bees do experience pain and suffering while they are being exploited for their products (not just honey but also beeswax, royal jelly, and more). There is simply no way beekeepers, humane or otherwise, can avoid harming or killing bees while they are extracting the bees’ products. Many vegans choose their lifestyle because they wish to avoid harming any other creature, and so they choose not to eat honey.
Check out this couple of articles that are pretty complete about everything around this topic :)
Why Honey is Not Vegan?
3 Reasons Not to Eat Honey > This one explain about the environmental damage and how we are killing the bees.
Do you think you could possibly help me understand the graphical relationships between a position vs time, velocity vs time, and acceleration vs time graph? My homework is one of the graphs is given and I have to sketch the other two and I'm so confused!
Certainly. The main things to realize are that
1. velocity is the slope of position and acceleration the slope of velocity2. if acceleration is constant, velocity will be a straight line and if acceleration is zero position will be a straight line.
Mostly you’ll be dealing with constant acceleration. Which means velocity will be changing, which means position will not be flat. This is what it looks like when a car gains speed, for instance:
If you threw a ball in the air, the parabola would be upside down, and the velocity graph point down, which means IT’S slope would be negative. So where would the acceleration line be then?
Scout history ~ information
yeah the boy scouts allowing trans boys in is great! but don’t forget that girl scouts have allowed (and encouraged!) trans girls joining since forever and that girl scouts was created in DIRECT opposition to boy scouts as a liberal and feminist organization to symbolize a big fuck you to the gross, conservative misogynist organization that boy scouts was (and continue to be)

“Lady who has a Bible Verse for every situation.”
Inspired by Filipino tribal jewelry, specifically the Lumad tribe.
This is how I draw hands. I simplify the shape and then later I will add the necessary details. It makes it easier to get them right. But the only way to learn how to draw hands is to just keep drawing them.
I’ve had this idea for a while, and I finally made it! If you have any more extensions that you use, feel free to add them to this post!
