Tittle: The Human Tornado and the Cat Dad

Aizawa didn’t mean to fall asleep on the common room couch. Again.

But to be fair, he’d been up for nearly 48 hours. The combination of grading papers, chasing after unruly students, and an incident involving Mineta, the vending machine, and five rolls of duct tape had been enough to break even him.

So there he was—blanket half on the floor, scarf twisted around his leg, hair doing a pretty solid impersonation of a tumbleweed—when you entered the room like a caffeine-fueled hurricane.

“SHOUTA!” you shrieked like a banshee, bursting in with a foam sword and a crown made of plastic forks. “WE HAVE TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!”

He cracked one eye open. “Why.”

“There’s a festival downtown and they have corndogs the size of my HEAD and a guy dressed as a giant shrimp is doing backflips and I bought you a tiny top hat for the cats and—”

A long, groggy groan escaped him. “Why are you like this.”

You leapt over the couch and landed beside him with the grace of a startled squirrel, immediately tangling yourself in the same blanket. “Because I love life, and chaos, and cats, and you. Not necessarily in that order.”

He stared at you, utterly deadpan. “That’s horrifying.”

“That’s romance,” you corrected, booping his nose.

He blinked. Once. Twice.

Then, in a rare moment of pure surrender, he let his head fall into your lap.

“…Five minutes,” he mumbled, already halfway back to unconsciousness. “Then we’ll go see the shrimp man.”

You beamed. “Deal! But I’m dressing you like a wizard.”

Aizawa didn’t even argue.
