A reminder to the "the American government wouldn't..." crowd. They have. They have made their own internment camps before. They have rounded up innocent citizens and immigrants before. The victims of which are still alive to this day and trying to share their stories with the world, they have been trying to warn us for a long time. George Takei (as seen above) is a famous example of this. He has written about his experiences time and time again, even publishing a book talking about his time in these camps. He may be famous now, but at the time he was just another kid forced from his home. To this day he still firmly dedicates himself to trying to educate and inform people, trying to spread awareness with his platform. The American Government can and will do terrible things. Do not let anyone convince you otherwise.
Ok, I've seen this sentiment before, but the amount of Kindle Unlimited ads I've been seeing is forcing me to repeat it-
Kindle Unlimited is offering two free months of unlimited ebooks. As a trial. Which will then become a paid subscription.
Your local library is offering unlimited ebooks all the time. Forever. No contracts, no predatory practices, no tracking of how long you spend on each particular page in the hopes that information about your habits can be sold for a profit.
Use your library. They want so badly to give you all of the things for free.
Does anyone have the fucking tiktok video of the overly enthusiastic rich bearded guy showing off his new hiking shoes in his Mansion and the Woods, but then another dude duets with it to make it look like he's escaping from being held prisoner please please

I’m reporting this to Mama Zoe
So I just heard about @nobodyfamousposts fics about if Marinette accidentally brought a doll to life with the power of creation. So I am gonna put some head canons)
-Marinette was initially horrified about what she had done, considering she just brought an inanimate object to life. But she slowly warms up to it.
-Little chat doesn’t need to eat, since he is simply a doll and has no need for food or air.
-Chat noir does get to meet the little guy eventually, he finds it adorable that Ladybug made a mini him. Joking if that makes him the papa. “He looks just like me”
-Marinette ends up finding him constantly trying to sneak into her bag to go to school with her. Which she tells him no. He still does it.
-One day Little chat does something to ruin one of Marinette’s projects, and Marinette yells at him. Making him feel horrible.
-Marinette realizes what she had done and quickly tries to apologize.
-Since it is alive it has emotions, and therefore can be akumatized. (Since Robustus proves that if it has feelings it can be akumatized)
-Little chat gets bummed out a while after, always being forced to stay at home to avoid trouble. It feels like Marinette doesn’t even care about him. it makes him sad.
-In the episode he gets akumatized, he needs to be destroyed in order to free him of the akuma.
-Ladybug being mega reluctant to do it. She doesn’t want to hurt him
-But she does it, and immediately casts Miraculous healing.
-Miraculous healing reverts Little chat back to his original state, as a lifeless toy.
-It breaks Ladybug’s heart.
-Chat noir comforting her telling her it isn’t her fault. That this wouldn’t have happened if Hawkmoth wasn’t involved.
-This makes Ladybug hella determined to BRING HAWKMOTH DOWN!
-Hawkmoth realizing he had done f***ed up
