“Allaah hates a rude, foul mouthed person.”
The Prophet, Imam Bukhari’s Book of Muslim Manners (no. 464)
Don’t lose a part of your religion just to please people. Don’t make compromises in your Deen. Don’t drop your deen for people who will be against you on the day of resurrection.
i dont want my entire life to revolve around work
If you expect honesty, be honest. If you expect forgiveness, forgive. If you expect a whole person, you have to be a whole person. Spread kindness in any way possible. Remember it's a form of charity. Whatever you do will come back to you in some way, somehow, some day.
Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Every servant will be resurrected upon the way that they died.”
Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2878
One day a few years later, when you’re least expecting it, you’ll see the answers to all the questions you’ve been searching for, and you’ll understand the reason why Allah chose to remove you from that place and person. That day you’ll be even more thankful that he protected you.

When you treat others with respect, extend a helping hand and spread goodness, you’re actually embodying what a true believer is. Keep going!
Cherish your parents. Don’t let it be that it’s when you bury them that you realise how much of a blessing they are.
