i think it's really important that connor shows up in kevin's helldream and is depicted to laugh at him and taunt him. for example:

he is depicted as if saying "aww, gonna cry about it?" after arnold comes through scolding kevin for leaving him.

disregarding all the sexual references and gay allegories seen throughout the dream, this can also be seen as one. not only has connor appeared, but he has appeared to flaunt around tauntingly and laugh and sneer at kevin for all his flaws and sins he's committed.

you can look at this in the sense that, even if we as humans like someone (whether it be platonically or romantically) subconsciously and we are not aware of these feelings, we will still feel the need to impress them and do our best at everything around them to get their attention and approval. kevin already does this with everyone because of how his ego has been fueled and his need that everyone thinks he is the best, so imagine how it would be for someone he—even subconsciously—has feelings for. he would desperately want their approval and would go out of his way to make himself look even better than usual.

connor appearing in the dream only to combat these subconscious needs and male fun of kevin and jeer at him (and of course, provide extra gay allegories, etc etc) makes a lot of sense looking at it this way and mirrors this, because kevin having these feelings/gay thoughts would feel wrong to him, therefore there would be a lot of other things (like this) to show he is struggling internally with how he feels

anyway those are my morning thoughts. it's 6:30 am and i need to get dressed

I think for Elder Price i have to say Dom Simpson, im probably biased since he was the first elder price i ever saw but i do just love him. he has a nice voice and i love how he portrays kevin

I LOVE Connor Pierson as Elder Cunningham… he’s so silly and i love him so so much. Again i’m biased he was also the first cunningham i saw

Nabulungi is such a hard decision because i don’t think i’ve ever seen a performance of her that hasn’t been 10/10 stunning. If someone FORCED me to choose one i would probably say Leanne Robinson, she just has a really pretty voice..

no but you don't understand all the season 1 episode names end with an exclamation mark because she is excited and super in denial! she wants her life to be better, she literally tries to force it to be better! she is making the most impulsive irresponsible choices and she does not let anything stop her! she is going to be happy and she is going to be happy now!!!

she is in denial about josh -- but she is even more in denial about her mental state! that's why all the episode's have josh's name in them!!! she can, under certain conditions, admit that this is in fact about josh, but she will literally almost die before she admits that it's actually about her own mental health! and then in season 2, she is starting to doubt everything! every episode name ends with a question mark!!!! but they all! still! have! josh's! name! in! them!!! she is spiraling! the story she's been telling herself isn't convincing anymore!

and then she can't keep pretending. she can't keep pretending that she isn't obsessed with josh, she can't keep pretending that that's not why she's here, she can't keep pretending she's not crazy. the episode titles now end with a period. but she can still pretend that it's about josh.

until she can't.

but recovery isn't linear. so for one episode, it's not about josh. but then it becomes about nathaniel, and we go back to exclamation points. and it's still better, but rebecca can't go from where she was to perfectly healthy in just a few episodes. she still has a long way to go.

and then we get "trent?!", which forces her to confront with everything she's done. it's a name, and it's a question mark, and it's an exclamation mark, and it's an episode that in a way turns the narrative on its head. it's not an episode about trent, it's an episode about rebecca. from josh's perspective. from the perspective of the people she's hurt. and in the end she understands it. and nathaniel becomes irrelevant.

and in season 4, nothing is certain. the names have open endings. everything is in progress. and it's about her
