No More Negative Posts About Writing!! I Write Because I Genuinely Love & Enjoy The Entire Process, And

if anyone wanted to ask me why I like writing, I’d say that the people in my head need to be free. Because they do. Once I die, I’ll bring all the thoughts I ever had with me and none of you will know - none of you will be able to know what thoughts I had when I was alive. And I have worlds and communities and cultures inside my head and I don’t want to bring them down with me, I don’t want to be the only person who ever walked the streets or talked to the people or danced the cultures. The worlds I make may be filled with people - but they’re all me, and the streets are lonely. I guess I’d mostly say it’s because I want to share. I want to share the worlds, the lands, the realms I make. I want to share the stories I’ve told to myself so many times.  I want to put my mark - however small - so that when I do inevitably die, I won’t bring this world I made down with me. I don’t want to walk the streets alone anymore.

Death turned their hooded head towards the open night sky. Breathing in a long, satisfying breath. “Finally,” they murmured. “Things are finally falling in place.”

Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.

Writing is like you’ve found a garden that’s overgrown and unusable.

First you have to cut through to make a path.

Sometimes you’re going to come across a tree or an obstacle, so you’ll have to start a new path or do around it.

You’re going to get tired. You’re going to want to give up.

Eventually you’ll have to go back. Clean up the path. Remove some junk.

Then you’ll bring in the decoration. The bird bath. The flowers.

To finish you’ll add a nice bench and sit down to watch the world you created.

But first you just have to clear a path.

So I just realized after a heavy vent session that I could very well be in an abusive situation with my dad. So I’ve decided to save up enough money to move out once I turn 18, but I need help with that. I currently don’t have a job and even if I did, I wouldn’t have nearly enough to move out in two years.

what is the word ‘seriousness’ it’s supposed to express like, the serious-ness of a situation or a person, right? but why is it why does the word ‘seriousness’ not sound serious at all it looks like someone did a thing and just added in a half thought later to make it fit  ‘seriousness’ ‘serious-ness’ what?

He didn’t know what he was expecting, couldn’t understand how he hoped for the same mechanic that had helped his buir all that while ago. What, that after all this time she’d not only still be here, but would also be in the hanger his teacher had chosen at random?

Please. He remembered how the other Younglings would hate it if a story melded perfectly for the character’s usage. ‘He has stupid plot armour!’ they’d cry out. ‘It makes no sense!’

Fool him twice for thinking he had plot armour.
