happy birthday, former heir to the Hiiragi. i think mahiru's birthday is a sad day for shinoa in the first place. when she was a child, she used to make presents out of whatever she could, congratulate her sister, the only family she had. now mahiru has been gone for years. and shinoa's pain can't be shared even by shinya, who tries to be there for her.
