Just some very quick practice sketches of emotional Punk Rock Branch because I can't stop thinking about my AU.
I'll elaborate on the story eventually. But basically, after Branch reunites with Poppy in their adulthood, they reach a point in their relationship where Poppy tries to get him to reconnect with his past he has been shutting out, in an effort to help him as well as understand his reasoning behind leaving the way he did. Since he had been bottling things up for years as a defense, that was a huge struggle for him. During the process, Branch reaches a breaking point which leads to a huge fight with her, where he shows a deep vulnerability he has never allowed himself to feel. In this moment his walls break down and he tearfully tells her the truth about his past. I envision him seeing/finding something that sends him into a panic attack.
Idk! This was one of the first scenarios that I created in my head for my AU and I will get around to making this scene one of these days. I'm just rambling rn đ
a couple snippets from a presentation i gave at school this past week on storyboarding!!
âŒïžDISCLAIMER: I am a still a student and have only worked on student and indie projects! This is just stuff that I personally find helpful as an amateur, so feel free to take it with a grain of salt!
Happy boarding, friends! âïžđ
My favorite type of unrequited love is when the oblivious person B is just so loving? Like, theyâre so good and attentive and caring to the point that person A canât resist loving them for all of it. Thereâs so much love there but itâs just not romantic. The love doesnât hurt either because person B is just so wonderful. Loving them is the logical thing to do. Yeah theyâre never gonna get together in a romantic sense but theyâre still together. And for person A thatâs good enough.
