Breonna Taylor was killed by police who were conducting an UNANNOUNCED drug raid, where they gave no request to enter. They bashed her door and entered, shooting her EIGHT times. They were in the WRONG HOUSE.

hi i’m emmett, i’m a disabled trans man who is getting top surgery on 8/18/2020! i have been saving for months but a huge payment for my car repairs i that i had gotten done a few months ago, came out of my bank account today (7/28/2020) and it took a HUGE chunk out of my savings (the bill had been temporarily deferred due to covid) so now i’m scrambling to get my savings built back up in the next 3 weeks so that i can pay my facility fee as well as my first payment towards the surgery itself
i did the math and i need $750 just to live off of and to pay my bills while i recover. i don’t know how much the facility fee is yet (will update when i get my answer from the billing dept but they said it could be up to two weeks before i hear back) and i want to be prepared so i’m asking for help getting to the $1k-$1.5k that i would like to have set aside. i know everyone is hurting for money right now but even if you can’t donate please reblog this if you’re able! even $1 helps

Hi everyone, I wanted to remake and update our donation post, for those who know and dont know whats going on
basically I didnt get any UI or govt help and still dont, I cannot work during the pandemic as it might kill me or disable me further, and in late june my grandfather passed away. even before the pandemic my mental health was rocky but Im in a very dark place and I really need to get a therapist and a psych who listens and are women of color, since i dont have income i cant afford that right now but i desperately need the help to pull me out of this deep and very dark hole
my partner @honeybearbutch has been experiencing transmisogynistic, homophobic, fatphobic and ableist abuse for years, since the start of the pandemic they have been trapped with their abusers 24/7, and the level of abuse and violence as dramatically increased. In early june their parents started being more vocal and open about their far right views wrt the protests and our relationship, Xochi defended me, the protesters and aggressively detested their far right anti black views. Due to this the tension in the house has been great, and homelessness has been threatened several times by all of the adults in the house and recently as of today 08/16/20 they were threatened and then assaulted by their homo/transphobic oldest brother after being abandoned at work with no way of getting home. We many need to get them into an airbnb soon but are not sure yet mostly because of the cost, I just dont want them to experience anymore physical violence.

ok so this is a post where i more formally state my case and air my grievances and also ask for your financial support
i am a mixed race disabled lesbian living with my abusive fascist white mother and enabling father. i currently cannot escape this situation because i can’t work most jobs due to disability and when i do try to apply for jobs or miraculously manage to land one i am harrassed by my mother until i have a mental breakdown - which, with my health conditions, implies a physical breakdown as well - and have to quit.
the only way i have to obtain any income for a minute degree of freedom and saving up for eventually hopefully leaving is doing art commissions or selling my music. my commission prices and rules are here, and here is my bandcamp page.
if you would like to support me i practically beg you to either commission me or buy my EP (which is 2USD but you can pay more if you want), because i have to explain all my finances to my mother and she was furious when i asked for help regarding my computer (thanks a lot by the way <3) but if you really aren’t interested on anything i can do for you my paypal email is the same as the contact email in my commission post

We have shit luck. Something fucked always happens.
We had been helped with donations to get through the week and help us get on our feet and Chris walked to the store to grab some drinks and tap Mac. On the way back he was approached by three guys who seemed to think he was someone else. They said someone about how “he” robbed them earlier and sped off in a Honda (we have a Saturn). They wound up jumping him. All three of them. One was bashing him with a huge rock. They beat the fuck out of him. He almost definitely has broken ribs (he said he’s broken ribs before and it feels the same), they cracked two teeth and knocked out another, he has two black eyes, a swollen jaw, cut up knees, bruises in various places. They really did a number on him for no fucking reason. They had the wrong fucking guy. He was with me all day and Chris wouldn’t rob anyone. And of course they fucking robbed him for all we had for the week.
I’m so angry and upset and fucking heartbroken. I feel so goddamn bad for him and I feel fucking guilty because I was gonna go to the store at first but asked if he could just go. I should have fucking gone and he would be okay. I don’t understand what we did to deserve all this shit. I’m tired of it.
I just want to universe to give us a fucking break. If anyone is willing or able to help us get back what was taken from us, and help us to get stuff to patch him up and manage his pain we’d be so grateful. We’re trying so fucking hard to get back on our feet and everything keeps going fucking wrong.
