tbh I might make a blog for one of my ocs…..

im bored and I wanna talk about what inspired me/influenced me to make Opal the way that she was.

Design wise and a little bit of personality she was heavily based off of momo from apothecary diaries. That’s also where I got the doctors/apothecary part of her character. The only difference is that I didn’t really make her ass passionate about medicine or poison but instead I made her more fascinated.

similar to momo she also experiments on herself not because she likes it or she likes the feeling of it. She does it because she believes it is the most simplest and best ways to test her medicines. though she knows she may not be always the best subject because she’s able to regenerate most of her injuries fairly quickly so she always has a human test subject or 2 on hand. she often goes herb collecting in the morning and can do it for hours on end until it’s way past her bedtime

honestly, I feel like when it came to trying to name her she was probably the second hardest since I wanted a name that fit her profession and we were learning about different types of drugs in my class recently and we were going over opium drugs and that’s what inspired the name opal since it’s supposed to be a play on the word opium. I also kind of find it funny since opium’s are pain reliever drugs, and she can’t really feel physical pain.

oh boy not another character we don’t have much on 🥲 jk I actually didn’t think much of him at first but this twitter artist really made me fall in love with the Rosequartz twins despite them not having much screen time (also a fan of Lovie/Charles because good god that person is phenomenal at drawing). Everyone should totally stop reading this and go look up tetota_tettou on twitter (they don’t do mashle art anymore unfortunately but their past fancomics are worth a million read 🥹🥹)

Levis will be the next bureau chief to replace his dad after graduating as a formal “handover to the next generation” since citizens lost trust in the prev administration after innozero

he’d poach wirth from another department from time to time to help him out with the paperwork

whichever school Lovie choose to go to after he gets better will be under ungodly scrutiny but if they pass the inspection there’ll be an unfathomable amt of grant money pouring in, especially for the gardening club

he’d be the go-to meeting spot for the former walkis group

his favorite food is beef steak, which relies on the quality of beef so he might be a beef connoisseur to match with the bonbon rich boy image

his hobby is making connections so I can imagine him picking a nice spot in an expensive cafe on the third floor of the student promenade and people watch who to scam next while enjoying some stupidly expensive steak

many attempts were made to subtly undermin Domina’s authority in walkis (better grades, friends, connections,…) but to Domina such things are useless so he ignored it. Levis was mad for days because the things he always used to lord over others have no effects on Domina

sometimes he would shove both charles and lance together on the same mission and watch the chaos he helped caused

since he once laughed at kenny’s bad puns I headcanon he love to be surprised by the unexpected. One time Orter would say “my younger brother and I are getting along well these days” and Levis would die laughing before someone pointed out that no, Orter wasn’t making a self-deprecating joke

Hecatrice will have a pudding ban backed by the gravity cane effective the moment Levis become bureau chief. One of the inmate might be plotting rebellion soon

so I was peacefully existing trying to do my work and cat hybrid reader x lévis just hit me like a truck (go ahead and eat up my nonexistent lévis fans)

• probably one of the only way you guys would actually meet each other is if your family is powerful and influential

• I could also imagine you guys being somewhat acquaintances when you were young like you used to sneak in and just say hi to the twins but their dad found out and they both got in trouble so you knew that you had to stop coming and saying hi

• if you came from a noble family, you two would definitely be childhood friends. you guys probably weren’t close because of the fact that his dad was really strict and made him focus on studying and training all the time but you try to spend time with him as much as you could

• would probably become very distant after his brother fell ill and just focus on his studies/training

• you couldn’t really do much about it either because this is also around the time where your family started being strict on you acting more like a “noble”

• I could imagine if you’re a cat hybrid one of your main things is being really fast, quiet, and stealthy.

• i’m trying to think of what your personal magic would be and I think it would be related to something heightening your senses

• I also wouldn’t be surprised if your family put you into an arrange marriage with lévis so you two were forced to be around each other for social event and etc

• if you guys both went to walkis you probably still wouldn’t talk to each other all that much because of the fact that both of you were so engrossed in your own studies

• I wouldn’t be surprised if lévis didn’t mention you at all to the walkis gang and they probably had to figure out through some stupid social event that y’all are both engaged

• now, if you were not a noble person and were like middle class or lower you too would probably only interact in his childhood

• unless you’re super strong and somehow got into walkis

• he would probably ignore you and pretend like you never existed in his childhood

• I wouldn’t be surprised if he outwardly mocked you if you’re trying to talk to him at all

• He still somewhat misses those times when you guys were younger and miss those times where you just hang out and be kids

ok ela testing is finally over so I’ll be posting something next week :D I’m thinking about continuing that one triple liner x lévs fanfic…
