Hello there everyone! Thought I'd remake my introduction because it's been quite a while and I wanted to give my blog a fresh look. :) I go by Mira here and I am a Korean-American artist living in France. English is my native language, but I speak French and some Spanish as well, so feel free to reach out in either of those.
Some fandoms I'm in are The Owl House and Amphibia, but I'm also a major bookworm and watch lots of other things as well. I'm still in school, and a minor, so I'd appreciate no 18+ content requests/ interactions. I'm currently working on a webcomic I plan to release in January and I'll be posting my illustrations and doodles here. I have a Youtube with the same handle as my Tumblr, but there's nothing on there.
That's all for now, and I hope you'll stick around. Thank you for reading!
just a quick sketch of one of my first OCs :)
Fun fact: I'm a Spop fan as well and Entrapta is my favorite character by far. She was always so much fun and I made tons of fanart when I was younger. So here's a little doodle!
I fucking love these two -
Hey there everyone! Just a little glimpse into my new sketchbook. Recently got into Frieren, so there’s some fanart. Also the big head on the right and the one in the top left of the first image was drawn by 2 friends. :)

Happy Pride Month y’all and I’m back from the dead! I actually have been sketching like crazy so heres a recent study. (critique, esp for realism appreciated + Close ups below the cut!!) <3
STOP DOOMSCROLLING, YALL
IT IS. BAD. VERY BAD. YOU GET STUCK AND IT'S ICKY AND YOUR BRAIN GETS STUCK IN ICKY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS
INSTEAD
LIKE I JUST SAID IN THE TAGS OF A POST
MAKE SOMETHING! DO SOMETHING BESIDES LOOK AT CURRENT EVENTS.
This past summer when political stuff was happening, I was already having A Time and I just started knitting more and watching Ghibli movies for hours on end- and it really helped. It not only took my mind off of the state of the world, but I was able to step back and be proud of my progress on my little project.
A rabbi I just talked to told me about how whenever the community was Going Through It, she was always prescribing art- she ran out of canvases because she gave so many away.
And making things really does help!
You don't need to just make things- play a silly little game, pet an animal (dogs are soft. warm creechurs. beloved (<- has a dog)), listen to a silly little podcast or music, watch a cozy show or movie.
But don't doomscroll. You get stuck and it's so hard to pull away.
But if you ARE stuck, take this post as a sign to just. Close the app. Close the tab. Stop now so you don't get even more stuck. Use this post as a pole to pull yourself out of the mud, or have someone else help distract you and pull you away from doomscrolling.
Stay healthy and safe, yall 🤟🤟🤟
