Of fucking course
What sick bastard doesn’t
The reason the establishment is so terrified of Aaron Bushnell's protest, is because they understand a point many of you seem to have missed
Aaron wasn't sending a message to the government (we know they don't care)
No, I think Aaron's message was meant for other service people like him. Because if the military refuses to participate in the genocide, it's over
And if you thought YOU were moved by Aaron's actions...
imagine how Aaron's unit is feeling right now
Mutinies have started for less
The exact moment every protest turns into a revolution, is when the army refuses to defend the establishment any longer.
And THAT was the message Aaron was sending out. How many units now are ready to reject orders? How low does their morale have to sink before they say 'enough!' How long until they stop pointing guns at the protestors outside, and run over and join them instead?
This is dangerous territory for a government that is hellbent on ignoring every crisis it creates
Palestinians are no longer asking us to help stop the bombing.
They are asking ( I would normally say begging, but proud as they are, Allah save them. After 106 days, they never begged for anything) for food.
They fear dying out of hunger more than being shredded to pieces by bombs
The messages they send.... How can I tell it's worse.. I can't put it into words, but it's worse
people are calling what happened today in gaza “the flour massacre”
the flour massacre
these people just wanted to get food for their families, something as basic as flour, one of the things that the very core of humanity is built on, and israel used it as a trap to murder them in cold blood
evil is not enough of a word. there is not a word to describe what they are doing to palestine. they are bleeding her out, they are torturing her and crushing her and hoping that nothing is left to remember her by when they are done. how can anyone stand and watch what is being done with indifference? how can you watch this level of human suffering, this crime against life and feel nothing, do nothing
I swear to god if I see one more person talking about “condemning Hamas.” Tell me, what is the point of me personally condemning Hamas? My country’s government already has condemned Hamas. Along with many other countries, the US has designated them as a terrorist organization and leveled sanctions against them. Protests against the genocide in Gaza are being labeled as “pro-Hamas” and therefore “pro-terrorism” and being shut down. The US is in fact arming Israel and supporting the leveling of Gaza. Even if I did personally condemn them, why would I be in the streets demanding that everyone in power just keep doing what they’re already fucking doing? Get a goddamned grip. Stop treating this like an issue of individual morals and take a look at the material reality. Everything Hamas has done has been for the purpose of ending an oppressive colonial occupation perpetrating ethnic cleansing and genocidal massacres for 75 fucking years. They took 250 people captive because Israel had already been arresting thousands of Palestinians, including children, and holding them captive and abusing them for years without charge or trial. Peaceful protest has failed to change anything because no one in power in the rest of the world has shown any real solidarity with Palestine. No one answered their calls to action. Not even calls to nonviolent actions, like sanctions or ceasing to arm Israel. The blood of both Palestinian and Israeli civilians is on Israel’s hands, and also on ours. If you don’t like seeing violent resistance, then fucking do something about the violence that they’re resisting against. Stop moralizing and get organized.
*actually, also, for the record, Hamas is not the only resistance group in this fight. “Condemning Hamas” really means “condemning the entire Palestinian resistance movement.” I fucking will not. Down with the occupation.
What exactly is Coca Cola’s role in Israel's occupation? Coca-Cola has a factory in Atarot, an illegal Israeli settlement built on stolen Palestinian land. Palestinian communities are forcibly removed for illegal Israeli settlements like this to be built. These settlements are illegal under international law. By having an Israeli franchise in the illegal Israeli settlement of Atarot, Coca-Cola is ignoring international law and profiting from the illegal occupation. There are currently up to 750,000 Israeli settlers living in at least 250 illegal Israeli settlements across the occupied West Bank and East Jeruasalem. By drinking Coca-Cola, we as consumers are turning a blind eye to the illegal occupation of Palestine. In 2022 American food company General Mills announced it was divesting from Atarot as a direct result of pressure from human rights groups, activists and others. Let's keep up the pressure on Coca-Cola to stop operating in Atarot! Join our call to #BoycottCocaCola until it stops operating in Atarot illegal Israeli settlement. Make a pledge to boycott Coca-Cola until it stops operating on stolen Palestinian land.
